I have a century zastava AK, and I'm not familiar at all with the 922r rules. If I replace the stock, and handguards with original yugo parts, will I still be compliant?

Changing out the stock and handgaurds wold probably make it NON compliant, due to Century probably changing those out in order to make it compliant.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it, but it should already have a tapco trigger which is 3 parts, a U.S magazine is another 3 and there is your 6 U.S parts. Pistol grip is another common part to be changed along with the gas piston.

Remember though its not how many U.S parts there are but how many foreign parts there are. Can't have more than 10 foreign parts.

Here is a list of the "countable parts"

(1) Frames, receivers, receiver castings, forgings or stampings *
(2) Barrels *
(3) Barrel extensions
(4) Mounting blocks (trunions) *
(5) Muzzle attachments *
(6) Bolts *
(7) Bolt carriers *
(8) Operating rods
(9) Gas pistons *
(10) Trigger housings
(11) Triggers *
(12) Hammers *
(13) Sears
(14) Disconnectors *
(15) Buttstocks *
(16) Pistol grips *
(17) Forearms, handguards *
(18) Magazine bodies *
(19) Followers *
(20) Floorplates *

Don't forget a US mfg f/hider. You keep the furniture, H/T/S & f/hider, you're GTG.

Do you have a o-pap or n-pap? If so you can most likely replace the furniture without any issues as they are already Serbian parts. Century uses the gas piston, FCG (3 parts), slant brake and pistol grip as 922r parts. At least that was how my n-pap was setup. I would validate your rifle's parts make up to be sure. Parts will either have a "US" or "C" marking to denote they are US made.
