On Wadsworth @ 68th. Any experiences positive or negative? From the web... I have made a name for myself by putting you, the customer first. We also do NFA transfers, and will help you with the SOT process. Referrals are the majority of my business, and are the ultimate compliment. In addition to providing Firearms training, safes, ammunition, custom holsters, accessories, Gunsmithing, we buy, locate, ship, receive, trade, consign, and transfer handguns and long guns. I take care of you, so you don't need to go elsewhere. Customer service is not a department here, it is a mindset. Prices listed are cash prices, and do not reflect additional courtesy charges for using credit cards. Westminster Arms is "YOUR FRIEND in the firearms business!

I went in there about a year ago. There were 4 "good 'ol boys" at the front counter all standing there BS'ing and I walked around for about 10 minutes with even so much as a hello or may I help you so I walked out and never looked back and never went back.

Really small place. IMO his stance on "customer service" missed the mark.

Hmm John is a great guy there. Always gives me discount. Believe he's the owner too.

Never been in store, but set up a deal with John online and he came through with flying colors. Great price, and service.

I had a good experience at Westminster Arms last night. Did a personal transfer for $25, including bkgnd check fee. The two guys working were very pleasant, offered us coffee, etc. They also looked to have a decent selection of leather holsters.

Many of us have had the good fortune to interact with John Williams, the owner. He will be missed.

That’s very unfortunate.
I actually did quite a bit of work for John back in the day when he was just starting up out of the 4x4 shop. I have never had somebody bring me more Montgomery Ward, Ted Williams and such .22’s that needed work.
His spiel was always the same, “It’s a good friends and I want it fixed up for him”

I told him neither of us were making money doing it and he said “Yeah but it will make him happy”

I went my way and he went his eventually.

RIP John.

I do most of my business here for the last several years and I will continue to do so. Hallis is incredibly knowledgeable and is a great compliment to the info, and misinfo, found on the forums. They stock all the popular stuff and are competitive. No attitude here. Employees seem in a good mood unlike some places here in the metro area.
