I think this may be the 1st thing that I have ever agreed with our Great and Powerful leader on. Thoughts?

So we roll in to a f*cked up country, f*ck it up even more, then leave and tell them they need to "solve their own problems"? Sweet.
America: not winning any overseas popularity contests.

Well the whole going in there in the 1st place is a separate issue...but the options were to either stay there and babysit them at our expense for eternity or to leave and let the chips fall where they may.

Their military that the U.S. trained, abandoned the equipment that we supplied, stripped off their uniforms and ran. Gee, where have we seen this before ?

well, we need to pull the rest the folks out of the area. Let these people that hate us so much, go back to hating each other and wait for Syria and Iran to cut the country into pieces, and let's not forget the Kurds taking their slice to make Turkey nervous ...
Then they can all fistfuck each other and leave the rest of us alone.
Let us not forget they pretty much wanted us out toward the end there... just like Afghanistan is now.
They are happy to take the money we are pumping in there and then kick us out of the country when the mission isn't done or the people of that country Still are not ready to take over yet. Then grovel and blame us for not helping after they realize they can't handle things after we have prematurely left because they wanted us out.

We show them what welfare is all about and they don't want to help themselves? Go figure.
So Iraq army is getting their ass kicked and ask for air support, O says no. Major city falls and Oh Shit now nobody can deny there is an actual civil war raging in Iraq. O has a press release saying all options are on the table except boot prints. That about it?
When they asked for air support the proper response was "this is what it'll cost you." Charge them for every hour of flight time, for every bomb dropped and then tack on some extra. O has no problem bombing people in Pakistan and he just let the situation escalate because he couldn't touch Iraq before the midterms.
The kurds are the only winners I've seen in this.

Maybe Obummer will see the domestic correlation???

That actually is a brilliant idea that I never thought of before. Could they pay it though?

As soon as the money is in the account, then our tires roll, not a second before.

It may be the best thing ever for the US: the Iranians are intervening, to assist their longtime enemy, the Syrians, Sauds and Jordanians don't support ISES, and Al Qaeda thinks they are nuts. They can kill each other and to wrap it up we can turn it to glass.
I will be horrific for the Christians and non Muslims, so pray for them to get out safely.

Billing for air support is too foreign a concept for obummer. Oh wow, you mean all my flights on AF1 and my family's vacations with rockstar entourages aren't free??? WHOUDATHUNKIT??
ETA: the middle east has had their chances in spades. NOTHING will get them to stop killing themselves. Fuck them. If there was the modern equivalent of sending smallpox-infested blankets, I'd advocate sending those as "aid".

Glass parking lot.
Glass parking lot.
If we're going to drop bombs, that's what I was thinking.
That whole region has been a mess for thousands of years. That's the closest thing to a 'fix' as I can come up with.
Glass parking lot.
The Cost/Reward ratio is much better I think.

If the above is true, sounds like we do have boots on the ground and they need assistance.
NEW YORK – About 200 Americans under contract with the Department of Defense at Balad Air Force Base in Iraq are trapped by the al-Qaida-inspired jihadists who have seized control of two cities and are now threatening Baghdad, according to WND sources.
The sources, private contractors who have recently returned to the U.S. from Iraq, said Friday their former colleagues effectively have been abandoned by the U.S. military and are fighting for their lives against an army of jihadists surrounding the base who belong to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS.
The U.S. contractors are at Balad to help the Pentagon prepare the facilities for the delivery of the F-16 aircraft the Obama administration has agreed to provide the Iraqi government.
The surrounded Americans said they currently are under ISIS fire from small arms, AK47s, and rocket propelled grenades, or RPGs.
The contractors so far have been able to hold the base, but those on the scene reported it was only a matter of time before the ISIS terrorists succeeded in breaking through the perimeter. The sources confirmed the contractors were still under siege, despite an Associated Press report Thursday, citing U.S. officials, that three planeloads of Americans were being evacuated from Balad.
WND has learned from sources that the jihadists have closed down escape routes, and the U.S. Air Force is in a stand-down position. U.S. forces are not assisting even with air cover so a private extradition flight could land for a rescue, the sources said.
Privately scheduled exit flights have fallen through, sources said, as several private pilots originally scheduled to make the flights have quit.
The sources contend the U.S. military could provide the necessary air cover to protect C-130s or other air transport craft sufficient to make the evacuation, but so far officials have refused to get involved.
Balad Air Force Base has been under attack since Wednesday, when ISIS rebels seized the nearby town of Tikrit, the birthplace of Saddam Hussein.
The attacking ISIS forces approached Balad Air Force Base in trucks Wednesday and called through loudspeakers for all private security forces and Iraqi special military to leave immediately or die.
The U.S. private contractors in touch with WND reported that after hearing the broadcast, the private security forces and the Iraqi military defending the base dropped their weapons and ran.
The American contractors collected the weapons left behind and were able to hold off further immediate advances.

Hey at least IRAN is getting stronger. They are sending troops into Iraq to 'help.' Now, Obama just has to sit down and chat this down w/ the khomeini.
I suspect Iran instigated this anyway.

In reference to the contractors in Balad, having spent two tours at that base, I seriously hope they either get evaced or support soon. They aren't all trigger pullers. Some are but some are techies. It's very expansive and lots of fence. And I have opinions for the embassy on Baghdad, I'll leave those for if that situation arises.

Iran has a vested interest in keeping these yahoos out of it's country; and it was the Saudi's with US "help" that fueled a burning ember into fire in Syria.
Sunni vs Shiite, Arab vs Persian, the religion of "peace" has been killing each other, and everyone else, for centuries...

NEW YORK – A U.S. contractor in Iraq told WND the Iraqi Air Force has begun evacuations from Balad Air Force Base, where 200 American contractors were trapped by the al-Qaida-inspired jihadists who have seized control of two cities and are now threatening Baghdad.
A contractor with Sallyport Global, who asked not to be named, told WND through a Skype instant message that he was transported from Balad to Baghdad and was communicating from a C-130 preparing to take off to Dubai.
He said 300 in total have been evacuated from Balad, about 60 miles north of Baghdad, and another 100 are still awaiting airlift. He said the Iraqi Air Force is trying to evacuate everyone by midnight local time.
WND previously reported Friday that private contractors who have recently returned to the U.S. from Iraq said their former colleagues effectively had been abandoned by the U.S. military and were fighting for their lives against an army of jihadists surrounding the base who belong to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS.
The U.S. contractors were at Balad to help the Pentagon prepare the facilities for the delivery of the F-16 aircraft the Obama administration has agreed to provide the Iraqi government.

This is the problem. ISIS doesn't tolerate Christians. So we have slaughtering of Christians in Nigeria, lots of it in every country we "helped" recently & now this in Iraq. Gee thanks Obummer for supporting those "democratic" regime changes and helping those who want to follow another religion live in peace...

Looks like there will be a big old bonfire in the mid-east. Bring the boys and girls home, let the camel chips kill each other for a while and when they finally organize, we will have a target to shoot at. In the meantime, protect the home front form those that seek to destroy us from within. Why are democrats such limp dicks anyway?

Propaganda by ISIS in Iraq from March/April:
Liveleak says: "The psychopaths of Isis are killing without mercy in Iraqi roads. A Horrific video shows their latest murders in Iraq. In the end of the video, a poor fellow guy runned to save his life, unfortunately without success.--------------------------Those people were at Isis death list. Not random shooting. Sometimes Iraqi officers, sometimes goverment employes or just people who are against Isis actions in Iraq. Those videos were recorded the March and April of this year."

They seem so angry
Level the whole Middle East. Who gives a shit any more, they are a terrorist breeding ground. Their war has waged for thousands of years and us stepping in never had a chance to stop it. We lost thousands of American lives for their bullshit. If we want to win the war/stop terrorism and fighting over there, we wipe the whole fucking place out, any other option won't cut the bill. It's a sad truth, but they are brought up to hate the west, brought up that it is okay to die fighting for your religion even if it is by suicide.

I've been saying this for years, yet everyone always says it's "too extreme" or "racist." But seriously, where on earth are there more instances of completely intolerant ideals? It's been proven time and again (Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, Egypt) that Islamic nations cannot exist with a multi-religious populous. The Muslims almost always either murder or exile the non-Muslims.

Sorry but I agree with Gen Jack Keane. Leaving these guys completely alone is dangerous for us in the long run. The "containment" strategy (if you can call it that) practiced by the Clinton administration in the 90s is precisely one of the reasons AQ was able to pull off the only successful air attack on CONUS in history. The liberals were able to pin the blame on Bush even though all the elements were built and deployed during the Clinton administration and the Democrats fought Bush's appointments and policies tooth-and-nail.
Does anyone really think the Europe that fought the Hundred Years War and created the Versailles Treaty would have created modern Europe if the US hadn't been in place for the last 70 years? (Okay, I think that job is done and we should have put a bow on it with NATO's 50th anniversary but that's a different issue.)
At some point, I want to pull our boys back home and tell them to go eff themselves but Obama's way of doing it (including announcing "deadlines" to the enemy so they know just how long they have to hold out) is just plain nucking futs. He is repeating every damned mistake from the Vietnam War and making up new ones instead of learning lessons like beat the ---- out of the enemy so he has to acknowledge he's beaten then give the people a chance to build a new, more level headed government. The only time in the last century that we've done the latter was WW II and it seems to have done much better than WW I, Korea, Vietnam, etc.
Added non-sequitur: the stupid cow at the State Department defending the 5-for-1 trade and saying the 5 AQ weren't dangerous to the US should be the first consular assistant in Mosul. Send her right now.

Just saw a notification on my phone that we're sending troops.
Obama is sending 275 military personnel "to provide support and security for U.S. personnel and the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad."
Obama also is considering sending 100 or fewer special operations troops to Iraq to advise its armed forces as it battles Sunni Muslim insurgents, according to a senior U.S. official.

Barry lied, troops died. Barry's doing this for oil.
I guess since Barry is the liberal's bastard whatever he does is OK. Fukken hypocrites.

I'm rather surprised he did this but at least the green zone is fortified enough we won't repeat the Iranian embassy.
