The young man in this video and the one filming live together near campus. The police were called for a noise complaint. The officer said he "smelled drugs" and what you see here is what followed.

Yeah, all the 4th and 5th Amendments do is protect the guilty. [facepalm]

Behavior in video looks inappropriate, got a link or any other info or background about the incident? The video alone is not much to go on.

lucky that dog didnt get shot.

unfortunately the video doesnt show anything. for all we know he was being arrested for rape, murder, etc. sure the video is labeled to make us think that they did nothing wrong.

my advice, dont open the door, even for the police. talk through the door and call an attorney or the news station.
this is what America has come to. I hate to have to even think that way.

The black guy reminds me of a NBA player "flopping". "Don't shoot me, don't shoot me!" "I'll do whatever you say." WTF is he even talking about?! It's called playing it up for the camera hoping for a payday. Looks like he even fooled some of you. There are victims of the 4th Amendment out there but I doubt he is one of them.

Any basis for these claims? Because the cop actually explicitly says, "I'll shoot you in the head." at 1:52. So...yeah. I guess he should stop "flopping" and get executed by an oathbreaker, right?

Cops knock on my door, I ain't answering. I don't care if terrorists are roaming the neighborhood. Go get a no knock warrant. As I have said before the police are out of control. I know of a guy shot a cop dead on a no knock warrant, jury let the guy walk. Lesson from this video is don't answer the door to the police.

He does say he is "gonna shoot you in the head". Here we go again, another "you are all just cop bashing" thread. Where is this taken. If that is here in Colorado I don't think "smell" passes the smell test anymore?

It was taken in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.

Obviously he's being arrested for resisting arrest. Don't know why you couldn't figure that out.

Official Statement from Sheriffs Office: http://www.jpso.com/PressReleases/Default.aspx?prid=876

Report says nothing of marijuana found.

I guess we will see what a jury says. If anybody remembers...

The explanation gives more credence to the cop but his statement about shooting him........... We (or more correctly the Jury) needs to see more on this to know the hell was going on. This one is not very clear.

One thing that does both me is the "terrorist" BS that is thrown around too much now days. If the Gov does not like something... Just put terrorist in there somewhere, that'll get 'em!!!
