The "tool" is about 2/3 of the way down. I was actually quite surprised that it nailed down my actual zip code on the 2nd time when I chose to omit the last question. (The first time it gave me some zip code way out in the boonies halfway between Denver and Kansas.)

Not even close. Based on the attend religious services regularly, which i checked as disagree, put me in a town where 51% of the people attend regularly and the gun question put me in a 20% place.

Well it put me in Colorado Springs, just in the Briargate area instead of the west side where I live (which doesn't surprise me)

It has to read you IP address bc it placed me in Highlands Ranch

Put me in Rangely. Why am I anti-environmentalist because I don't believe in Global Warming?

It's cause you linked from a gun forum.

Guess where picking straight left hand column except for religious service attendance puts you?

I don't think so. For the results I posted above, I took the quiz at work, which is almost an hour away from where I live.

mine said I should live in Cope, CO or Weston, WY.
Both of those places are giant metropolisis.

^^ Cope, CO. Not close at all.
Another one for Rangely, with secondary recommendation of Sedalia, Meeker...
Basically, I'm an antisocial, gun loving, anti-big government libertarian(with a small "L")...
It put me in Cope, CO out by Burlington; I live in Conifer. It's a mixed bag here; I would do better in Park County; don't particularly like the eastern plains.

5. Sheridan Lake, CO 81071
It told me I have to sell my house and move to a city with a population of less than 50 so I will piss off less people. :)

Another Cope-er here, apparently. (Though I DO like the whole "1.994 people per square mile" thing; sounds like plenty land available!)

Guess I should start looking in to Rangely..... wherever the hell that is.
Sedalia here in CO, when I changed the state to Michigan it says Hickory Corners. Which isn't too far from Kalamazoo where I grew up.

Same results as hbar, Cope and Weston.
I live not too far from Cope now (closer than everyone that hangs around here) and we are considering move to Newcastle, WY(also close to Weston).
Guess I didn't need the help figuring out where to live.

South of Dinosaur National Monument about 20 miles. One of the places in CO where you can literally hunt Deer, Elk, Pronghorn, Bear, Mountain Lion, Grouse, ducks, geese and have good fishing with a bicycle as transportation. :)
Largely an oil field/coal mine town. Great hiking and biking too.

Huge liberal bias in the questions and their labels. I'm pro-environment but I'm also pro-science and pro-logic which is why I'm AGAINST the climate change BS. Then again, I didn't expect much from the Washington ComPost.

I got Cope, CO before I excluded the last question.

To be expected from WP. [Dunno]

Yes but also inaccurate (also expected from WP and Pew). When I had it check Hawaii, it wanted to put me in Haleiwa which is a hotbed of "artists" (read socialist Green Party wannabes who love to "enhance" their perceptions of reality via pharmaceutical augmentation).

It put me way out east in a town I have never heard of before called Cope.
I see they put several of us there

New way of marketing your city, making up these sorts of strange polls and having your city be the #1 recommendation? /tinfoilhat

Well the good thing is...Cope will be very well armed.
It's like they're trying to funnel all pro 2a people to Cope, CO. [panic]

It was clearly stated in the article that the questionnaire was run by a democratic group.
Leave that to the good folks at Clarity Campaign Labs. That’s right, the Democratic modeling and analytic firm that broke down partisan leanings by first name (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/govbeat/wp/2014/02/27/what-your-name-says-about-your-politics/) has now crunched their numbers even further.
The pew study mentioned initially come to the obvious result that people like living near people that share their beliefs. They have nothing to do with the questionnaire.

Cope is already well armed and very 2A. The more the merrier.

Just reading this thread, I gather that Colorado has at least 4-5, maybe even six different towns. None of which I've ever heard of. Survey makers really put in a lot of effort here.
Nice game. Sort of reminds me of hearing girls talk about taking a Cosmo quiz. [Flower]
As if I would listen to anything coming from the Washington Post or the Pew Research Center. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't a liberal funded effort to steer conservative people into backwater enclaves.
Anyone notice the NY state commercials promising lower taxes for businesses willing to move to the Empire State? Silly liberals. Most of us choose where we live because of our job. That would be something most of the progressives don't have to worry about.
