The Infamous is my vote for the best hip hop album of all time. There are always going to be a lot of Illmatic and The Chronic votes, but I can just pop that Mobb Deep tape (or MP3 now) in and listen to it front to back.

This is one guy rapping, and the people in the video are actors. That helps put the lyrical content in perspective the first time through. Otherwise you're too distracted wondering how the white guy isn't dead try. Ha.
