It's interesting the same .gov agency who says there is not enough water for farmers to irrigate their land in weld cty, 3-4 years ago. Allows the high density houses built in the same area. There's water to supply the taps, but not enough to supply the food?

It takes much less water for residential than agriculture, especially as cities can ban watering if there is poor snowfall.

Residential also pays far more for water. If you are in the business of selling water and one person will buy it by the gallon while another by the acre-ft, who would you rather sell to.

Since CO is taking their lessons from CA I expect more "OMG the cities are going to have to stop growing if we don't build more water projects!" with farmers reaping most of the benefit until the front range grows enough to look like the LA basin.

It may not change the voting habits of those who move into a major city or those who can't afford to move out, but their children will be educated in the large city school systems which can make it easier to expose them to a more liberal agenda.

People in high density areas are easier to control ... same thing with mass transit.

Honestly I'm tired of these people and wish a painful death on all of them.

Agenda 21.
First I had heard of Agenda 21 was a few years ago... much easier to keep an eye on the people if they are in one place...

Agenda 21.

This. The EPA has lately been a big part of the enforcement to get people's land... Another 1 of death by 1000 cuts.

It would be pretty cool if they created Bouldenver, Fort Lovegreemont and Grand Everyone then we could all "Be Well." Next come the Judges!

I don't know how much people are following the EPA, but it is both sad and scary; our country needs to wake up. I absolutely despise cities; I don't even like the suburbs. I refuse to live in one, and Obama can kiss my ass! That school finance ballot measure that failed was based on this; directing district money to Denver. ...I will continue my boycott of spending money in Denver.

I think that's already been accomplished, they just haven't changed the name yet:

A21 is being brought to the local level through the EPA and the International Council on Local Environmental Initiatives or (ICLEI) which is the "United Nations" at the local level. If your city or county is a menber of I.C.L.E.I chances are there are all kinds of plans for A21 AKA "smart growth and sustainable development" in your town. Y'all need to get informed and educate yourselves on this.

Here is a short vid that breaks it down a little more in depth. http://youtu.be/_1q_YdTMVQg

Exactly.

That is what the Soviet Union did. I wonder how long before we have to fill out an application and wait for approval, to travel from say Denver to Windsor.

Don't forget that high fuel prices play into this as well, if gas gets to 5 or 6 bux a gallon people will curtail their travel. :)

Doncha love how history repeats...and a plan comes together.
