I can't find the thread. I suck and my search-fu is weak.
Did Nicastle or McIntosh ever give a clear answer about what they'd do with NFA or fixing Adams County's CFL system?
I cannot answer your questions but, what I an say is that, at least Mike G. seems to believe that Mark Nicastle is more committed to strengthening the 2nd Amendment in Adams County.

McIntosh did so in a personal conversation. He was very clear on his support for 2A and NFA.
As far as publicly, I cannot say.

Ended up voting for him. The John Cooke and Justin Smith endorsements, along with Nicastle claiming to have been a democrat up until he tried to run in 2010 did it for me.

So, to bring this back up to the top.
McIntosh just won the election, is this going to change anything?
Has anyone in Adam's county had any luck getting CLEO signoff from anybody besides the Sheriff?

Probably. He talked a very pro-gun game during the election. I've been meaning to get an SBR. Maybe I'll try after he's had a month or so to settle in.
I don't know how often NFA comes up in the city part of Adams County. Is there anybody in Federal Heights who isn't an illegal or a felon?
I talked with McIntosh at the adams county fair and surprisingly he actually knew about the NFA stuff. I told him that is a big deal to a lot of us and since the ATF is really doing the legwork, it should not be an issue to get the sign off. He said he would have no problem signing folks off.
I also brought up the ridiculous wait times for new and renewal CCW permits and he agreed it needed to change. i gave some ideas, especially if they can run instant checks there and they print the permits there, why not be able to renew instantly?
Talking with him go him my vote, so hopefully he is good on his word for sign offs and hopefully we see some quicker renewal times and reduced wait times for CCW related items.

I'm very close to Federal Heights and I'm neither of those things. Maybe you should not make generalizations about the residents in areas you really don't know anything about, it might piss some folks off. Who lives in your exhalted neighborhood?

Right! I'm just down the street, I happen to think there are some really decent parts of FH, but I guess that is a bit off topic.
Everyone I tried calling the police when I lived in Westminster, they always told me the location was actually Federal Heights and would transfer me.

You don't strike me as the illegal type, so you must have been a Felon...

Bumping this up again. Has anyone in Adams co been able to get cleo sign off since McIntosh took office? Impending implementation of 41p has me a bit worried about being able to obtain more class 3 goodies.

No real world experience, but I did get a response in writing from Sheriff McIntosh stating his willingness to sign off on NFA items.
He will sign off on NFA items. I've not only discussed this with him, but he's also met with the owners of 5280 Armory and assured them of this. Hence why I'm glad he's my boss... shame I don't live in AdCo, otherwise he'd be signing off on some stuff for me next year.
