I've done some really dumb stuff through the years, but I can't say that I've ever shot up one of my own guns (or anyone elses for that matter).

I know he doesnt feel this way right now, but he's very lucky.

ETA I have heard of people shooting their cars before but never like this. My brother shot his side mirror shooting out the window at a P dog. A friend shot his floor in his truck with a 9mm and .22lr because he thought it was unloaded and he's an idiot. I shot my own windshield~ with a case. It cracked the windshield when it was ejected like a madman.

they tried this on mythbuster and ar15 rounds go through both doors. only place you would be relatively safe would be behind the front end where the engine block would catch it. best place would be behind the front tire angled so you have the engine block covering your ass. anywhere else it would probably go all the way through.
