i just drove through rifle Sunday!
Waiting for the short bus to show up and ruin the party. I'm in to check out the food. Do they have decent food?
9 news did a blip about this place on the 9 o'clock news last night. Sounds like the place has won several awards for good food and business is booming for them. Sounds like a definite "must stop at" when I find myself in the area.
Ate there this week. Food was excellent, staff was friendly. Oh and there is a class 3 deal across the street. Be aware they only do breakfast and lunch and close at 3pm.

Went to Grand Junction a couple weeks ago.
Stopped in this place for lunch.
My friend said it would be a GREAT place for guns and bikinis.
I couldn't argue with him.
I had breakfast with my family here the day after Christmas. The food was great and so was the service! The place was packed.

If there open when we drive through next week we will be stopping for some eats.
Stopped for lunch this last summer and the place was packed. Sat at the bar and enjoyed the view.

Too many fuken people along the front range. I wish the people who have RESPECT LIFE plates would respect the road as much as they do life. IT'S 65, NOT 35.. That stop sign, it's not a suggestion. You don't atone for blowing through the stop sign by doing 35 in a 65 either.
They're almost as bad as the liberal HOPE & CHANGE stickers. I HOPE THEY CHANGE LANES and get out of my fuckin way.

Be careful, You might not make the transporter sequel.

Made it there the other day, food and service was great. Nice place will stop in again when on the western slope.
I'd love to give 'em my business, but Rifle's so damn far away and we never have any reason to go over that way. With my old job, I'd go thru there often on the way to Grand Junction, but no more.....

We were there over Christmas also. I've been to Shooters Grill several times now and the food is always good and the service excellent. The green chili is fantastic.

This is why I agree with one of the folk in the video I posted ... they need to get this franchised and spread it far and wide (especially if their green chili is fantastic as Chafee2 says).

Franchising a small eatery would just mess it up. Bringing whats somewhat of a novelty based on their Christian & 2A belief would meet more protest and shrill harpy voices condemning them before they even broke ground. Besides i doubt they could replicate the brunette ;)
We've been there 2x. 1st was for lunch, suggest you get there by 11 - 11:30 OR after 1pm, or there's a wait. The burger was amazing AND cooked the way i requested, RARE! 2nd time was breakfast 9:15 open tables. Same friendly service, good food and reasonable charge.
I know there are numerous family owned / small places along the front range that may not see things the same way Shooters does. But great food all the same.

Try their burgers, if it's lunch time. Good portion of fries and the burger isn't skimpy. Then browse the gun shop across the street. LOTS of old winchester lever actions.
Update from my previous post. Looks like Franchising their place is in the works.
I can't think of a single restaurant where franchising helped anything but profit.

Only if they are business savvy, have good accountants AND consistently good food. You serve mediocre or shitty food, doors don't stay open long. Try introducing ANOTHER comfort food eatery in an over saturated area, not good. Ft Collins a prime example, there's at least 1 place closing / opening , or revamping their menu quarterly.

I recommend the burgers also. Friendly staff and nice scenery. Lunch $ well spent. It feels good to support a 2A restaurant.
