AR Ambidextrous safeties

anyone have any pros and cons on any particular brands? i'm looking at the BAD-ASS safety--i've seen the review here of the short throw model--wondering if anyone has comments about that or any other.

I've got the Blackhawk ambi offset safety on one of my rifles.
Haven't used it too much, and haven't felt the need to try it left handed, but it's a bit easier to operate than a standard safety.
I could see myself switching out all my AR's to this or something similar in the near future.

Running these on the ARs, nothing fancy, the spouse is a lefty. I'm not dropping coin for an infrequently used item.

I'm a lefty and have 3 stag ambi safeties that really get used. They look like the dpms ones linked in the post before mine and resemble the standard version. Nothing special and not expensive.

Two of them are great. They're tight and feel responsive. One of them is sort of loose and rattles a bit. Luck of the draw I suppose. It's on the rifle I don't really use.

A lefty friend has me add these to his builds - swears by them.
Easy to install - no screws to try to keep tight.

The CMMG & DSA ambi safeties function great.
The RRA ambi also functions with no complaint, but according to Bert, it is a PITA to install due to that teeny tiny set screw that installs inside the receiver to hold the peices together.

I run the Battle Arms on two lowers and love them though they are expensive but you can find then on sale on occasion. I am a righty an still use my left thumb to disengage the safety and my right trigger finger to engage the safety.

I tried a Stag/rra and it stuck out of the right side of my Spike's lower pretty far - not cool.

In other words buy the Battle Arms if you want a quality product.

You are welcome to try out the Stag/rra as it is just collecting dust at this point.

I was going to start a new thread but this seems like a good place to put this.
I think they really knocked it out of the park! Might have to sell off my BADASS levers for these.

confirmed: CMMG works just fine. RRA are a PITB bc of that set screw.

I've got the BAD 45* selector, short lever on one side and long on the other. I don't think I'll ever use anything else. You can remove the "lawyer pin" and use it on a normal lower.
