I got to handle one of these this weekend and man I was hooked. Had they actually had one for sale and not just for display I would have bought it. Trigger was very nice, grip was excellent and they were going for $599. They had a 10 person waiting list but said orders are coming in fast. I was a little bummed being a 'service pistol' and only have a 15 round mag. Every thing else on it was excellent. I am not sure how much longer I will be able to hold out for.

No safety - I like this.

The look of the pistol and descriptions of the crisp, light trigger with a short reset sound a lot like my Walther PPQ M1.

...but after watching the video, the trigger pull was 'better than a Glock but not PPQ good'.

Big trigger improvement over p30.

Where at?
I touched one and put it down ASAP!

Didn't hear about the wait.

Been wanting to buy another p30, dumbest thing I ever sold. But his has has my interest big time.

My 1gen P99 has a better trigger than the PPQ. Move your trigger finger off a tad, click, reset. Wonder where i put it? I don't like the H&K line simply for their proudly over priced magazines.

I handled one at Sportsman's Wear house in Loveland. Wish I could remember price. Wanna say 650 range. Sweet pistol though!

Obviously he thought he was asking WAY too much at 700 and decided to drop it to 699. I'd really like a VP9 someday, but I'll probably wait a while before I actually look into purchasing one. I don't want to end up in the same boat as some of those guys wit the Remington R51 that kept on explaining why it sucked.

This pistol looks like it'll be next on my short list to go with the P30.

Just picked up a VP9 today. This thing feels great in my hand, can't wait to get out and fire it. I've never been a fan of the trigger guard mag release but this thing fit like a glove so I had to give it a go.

Next task is finding a holster for it!

Where'd you get it from and how much, if you don't mind me asking?

I used a G17 leather for my P99. However after reading the specs, made from cannon grade steel . Perhaps something a bit more sturdy would work.

I have read that there are a few made for other pistols that do fit, sort of. I think I will hold out for one made specifically for it though.

As much as I hate to admit it, I bought it at Specialty Sports in the Springs. $639. I could have waited and got one for $599 but It was in stock and I wanted it. Not the best price but far from the worst. They did have more in stock.

Anybody else get one yet? I love the feel and watching the Hickock 45 review it looks good. Just curious how they are doing in the real world.
