When it's time to eat, what food item, leftover, in the fridge do you eat, Cold. Not talking about sample while heating up, I'm talking COLD.
There's the top of the go to food, Pizza. What else does one not give a second thought to eating, right then. Out of the restaurant take home box, bowl of this, plate that.
Myself , fried rice, cold chunks of rice stuck together, reaching for that drink as your 3rd spoonful is stuck chasing spoon 1 & 2 half way down your gullet.
Chicken of any variety, fried, bbq , that last piece of chicken fried steak.
Pork ribs, slow smoked from the get together 2 days ago.
Home made stuffing with ground, hot Italian sausage. Speaking of, that last link of goodness, OR the meatballs, your spouse said she'd have for lunch, tomorrow, burp.
Sure there's a few I missed, I know someone, will mention it.

Cold spaghetti(w or wo sauce). Cut chunk out of bowl, slap it down on slice of buttered bread(or leftover garlic bread) and fold.
+1 on the yard bird or any other left over meat in refer.

sushi
Leftover sushi? Ha, that's an oxymoron in this house. I love cold, honey baked ham from a holiday meal.
Never liked cold pizza. Most meats I will eat cold.

Chicken, pizza, cold cereal is number one. Pretty much anything in the fridge. Eating cold spaghetti right now at work!
chinese take-out
shredded bbq pork or beef.
pretty much anything in a doggy bag including a cold burger if the bread's not to soggy

This! Nothing better than a tasty ham that didn't get finished. Any pork product in our house is lucky to survive more than 2 days. Yum!
Cold fried chicken and a pale ale is a great 2 am fridge raid. Leftover holiday meals like turkey and ham, with my cornbread stuffing. Pizza works too I suppose.

Enough beer drank, no holds barred. The possibilities are endless.
Cold leftovers...chicken, pork, corn.
Most of the rest, and especially pizza, I like to reheat in the toaster over or broiler.

Dang near anything out of the fridge is fair game especially beef/pork left overs. Pizza is too especially if it is warmed up in a skillet. Skillet heating up of pizza will get the crust back to the way it was when first baked. Try it, you will like it that way.

If it is left overs, anything cold. Meats, rice, noodles, pasta, lasagna, tamales, taco salads, you name it. I hate waiting on the microwave.

Cheese (we buy in 5 lbs blocks...but it is not "government cheese" like they had in the late '60s/early '70s)
Salami (We always get a whole salami.... never have it sliced at the store. Planning on making my own, this fall)
Smoked Sausage ( Make my own)
Leftover Sausage (breakfast sausage, bratwurst, etc.)
Yogurt (make my own)

Most anything in the fridge. Most canned foods too, like soup, stew, ravioli etc. Guess I have low cuisine standards.
Ranch Style beans right out of the can. Cold cuts...but that's nothing unusual since it's in the name. Most leftover meats. Lasagna.

COLD, GUYS COLD. not even doing something to take the chill out of it. COLD!
Well then, will letting the COLD food out of the fridge just long enough to reach room temperature, will that still qualify for eating the food COLD?

Absolutely not. Cold is from fridge to palate . Like saying i love my fried chinked cold, once i put it in the microwave, to take the chill out of it. I did find it humorous someone said they like cold cuts, cold[LOL]
I'm heading in to finish off the fried rice from last night, COLD, not room temp.

Sure, however an experienced snacker knows to close the door. Thus allowing your next meal to stay as cold as the last.
Room Temperature, indeed.

Tamales. I always have tamales. With my tamales cold does not keep them from being hot. [cigar]

It comes down to the noise-factor while the boss is sleeping.
If I'm hungry and it is past acceptable noise hours for the kitchen, I'll eat anything cold. And I do often. The intense hunger seems to hit around 10pm.
I drank around 3 cups of cold tomato soup last night. I think the fancy types call that 'gazpacho'. I called it a full belly without the wrath of the beast being called down upon me.
She's actually really sweet when she isn't sleeping. [Dunno]

I'll eat anything cold. Gelatinized leftover Chinese food? I eat it over the sink when I get home at 2-3am, so there's no dirty dishes. Two days ago, I made more scrambled eggs for breakfast than the wife and I could eat. When I got home tonight (0200), I polished them off. Like jhood said, cold was quiet, and the missus wasn't bothered. Gotta admit, old cold scrambled eggs don't have the most appetizing texture. But I'd eat them again.

I always enjoy a chunk of cheese and a squirt of mustard rolled into some lunch meat.
Hm. Pizza, absolutely. Baked beans are also great, warm, room temperature, or straight from the fridge.
Ham, pork chops, shredded pork, sausage. Cold chicken is good, too. Especially chicken sausages, yum!
Macaroni salad is good.
Pretty much anything I can find.....but I ain't NEVER heard of anyone refrigerating leftover scrambled eggs! "Leftover scrambled eggs", there's an oxymoron for ya.
