Making a roof rack and dont have a pipe bender. I am having a hard time finding 1" 90° elbows. So I am thinking I will have to find someone to make the bend for me. Hoping to keeping it on the cheap end. Any suggestions?

You will be able to join the stainless to your mild tube with a mig.

Some more options..

Its dimensional.

Jim. Id love to just come over and use your bender but that is quite the drive. I appreciate it though. I might stop by a few places that were mentioned above.

Isnt it quite hard to weld stainless to mild? Ive never tried that. I tried welding stainless to stainless with stainless wire but had a 75/25 gas and I got no penetration.

Depends on the welding process used. MIG it's tough to do but easy peasy with TIG.

Not being sure of what kind of tube you have though I would think one of the performance exhaust shops in the area could either mandrel or crush bend 1" steel easy since they do it with pipes up to 3". As for joining mild steel to SS I'd use TIG if it's available.
