I picked up my first suppressor in April and now I can’t stop shooting my .308 with it on. I then went and bought a Colt 6933 (sbr 11.5” barrel) in May, which I can’t wait to get out of ATF waiting. Now on July 12, I went and bought a .223 stainless steel suppressor. [AR15] Now I keep looking at .22 suppressors. I’m not sure but I may have a stamp collecting problem. The worst part is I’m an impatient guy so all this waiting is killing me. [dig] So guys .22 suppressors what to get?

Use the 223. I would have ran the .308 on your 556.

The .30 cal can is titanium and I wanted a stainless steel .223 can to run on my sbr and semi-auto’s. I think the stainless can would be a little heavy and long on my .22 cal pistol.

Personally i have the SS sparrow I wanted serviceability. It was also the only one at the time i could find on my list on a F3 in stock.
I wanted stainless cause i wanted it to last plus i can ultrasonic clean it. plus like the fact it can run 5.7 if i ever decide to buy one.

I would consider
SS Sparrow
Spectre 22
Thunder beast .22lr

I would consider if its in stock on a F3 as a factor with current wait times. Cost, and if it meets your needs with the hosts you plan to run it on.

I have the AAC Element and Element 2. I'm very happy with them. If you want to give them a test ride let me know.

The OP is in plateville. He can road test the one's you have along side the cans i have.

HEY OP you have a place to shoot in your area? if not we have a silage pit for load development available.

Guys, a test drive would be awesome! We'll have to set something up. The BATFE is moving much quicker cashing my check for my .223 can on 07-21-14. I just have a lot of waiting to do.

We have to wait? I get my stamps back instantly..after chewing my nails waiting for several months thinking about not thinking about WTF IS TAKING THEM SO LONG!

I picked up this suppressor on 12-10-2014, it came much faster than I was expecting which is great, but..... The weather has been so nice, the rifle I'm planning on running this suppressor on has yet to take the trip to the gunsmith's for a barrel threading. So picked up suppressor and left the rifle. Now I get to do more waiting.
