The 9News reporter on TV simply called it a "long gun". I was impressed.
That was after the Breaking news where he stated he had an automatic weapon, repeated it 2 more times while the LEO's were cuffing the dude.
Kim stated he had a rifle and a handgun.

Yeah I don't know what is going on with 9 news, they also stuck up for Cory Gardner last night on their "political ad debunk" segment, I was quite surprised.
From what the PIO for JCSO just said, sounds like he began the day in a retired PD Crown Vic, he and his little GF stole a blue Subaru at gunpoint, got separated, shot at, and then broke into an occupied home, stole their GMC Envoy, got it stuck, ran onto I-70, tried to carjack multiple cars before a JCSO motor deputy confronted him, chased him, then cuffed him. Damn, what a day! Glad no one was hurt and glad the dirt bag is in custody.

Channel 7 has the raw footage of the entire thing. They had their chopper up and they filmed the entire adventure of the idiot.

That was pretty awesome when that JeffCo motorcycle officer pulled up with his gun drawn. One hand on the handlebars + one with a pistol = cowboy. The bad guy took one look at him and $hit his pants.

Doesn't even need to hang at all. Just make sure the drop is 3 feet. The sudden stop at the end of rope will suffice.

I felt like I was playing a video game watching that video. That heli camera must have been pretty high quality. I was surprised how far the heli was away from the subject but it came into perspective after they zoomed out when the girl was taken into custody. I don't what that guy dropped more quickly, the girl or the rifle.

If you recall a few years ago when those two news choppers collided over Phoenix when following that car chase, the helicopters were miles away, but were still able to fill the frame with the suspect carjacking new vehicles. The cameras are amazing.

Just watched the whole thing. WHAT A BITCH! Running around that Prius with a limp wrist and everything. That kid had NO clue. I liked the part where he finds a vehicle, and risks it by just driving through the wall. How hard is it to locate a garage door opener?

Irving I was thinking the same thing.. He drove through the garage door for the dramatic scene because he knew he was being filmed... Now he can go to jail where all his buddies are at from the last time he was probably there and he can brag about it to them when they watch it on the news... Idiots
The Jeffco DA told 850 KOA this afternoon of just a handful of charges they're filing against him, and wow... I was way off in my estimate, but that's only watching about 2min of the actual video from 9news last night. He's so screwed... pun intended.

When I was watching the news, I wondered if they were airsoft guns. I also was surprised no one ran him over.
