So, is there a recommended AK smith south of Denver? With all due respect to BPTactical, Northglenn is a bit of a drive. I'm looking to have my AK-74 rebarrelled to 5.56.

You could call Iron Hammer Armory http://www.ironhammerarmory.com/

I doubt you will get faster or better service than BP Tactical, but IHA does focus on the AK platform, and they are in Byers.
