Heaviest rain and the most hail I've ever seen in 24 years in Bailey. Garage flooded, hail was so deep on the roof water went under the skylight flashing and leaked inside, driveway washed away... Wow! They're saying we got 2" of rain in 30 mins.

Pretty impressive.

What's it like down the hill?

might have sprinkled a little here in Littleton. Heard the rumbles, probably when the storm was still up your way.

Bailey,

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles there. I hope that everything is OK and that the damage was minimum.

Thanks, SR. No big deal. Concrete floor got wet in the garage. Minor leaking into the house. Never seen it happen before. The wind was blowing in circles and literally blowing the water in through closed doors and windows. Reminded me of some of the hurricanes I lived through in Houston and Mississippi...but with hail.

Nothing here....yet. Hope the damage is minimal and you don't get a repeat performance.

Not a drop here.
Hopefully not a harbinger of what's to come.

And just 10 miles away 2.5 by the way the crow fly's from BG's, rain, no wind no hail. Now bright ass light in the sky, WTF is it.

Nuthin here in the Springs.
Last batch of hail last month really did a number down in Motor City. Dent guys still on our lot fixing them.

Bailey, didn't mean to come off as uncaring on my reply to your post, just thought it crazy how colorado weather is, with massive storms in one spot, and a few miles a way clear skies.

Hope you came out of the storm ok, sounds like it was a wild ride. I have to admit, I do enjoy the feel of a big storm, but definitely don't enjoy the damage afterwards.

Not at all. Not like any of us can control the weather.

Garage is pretty much dry courtesy of the shop vacs and a lot of sweeping. No real damage to the house. The driveway on the other hand... But that's just par for the course. I'm constantly having to grade it just for the rain to wash the fresh dirt away again. Can't really put proper drainage in the drive because there's so much exposed bedrock. One of the "benefits" of living in the hills.

I was driving through Bailey during that storm. That shit was crazy! The traffic was backed up too far so the gf and I went over Guanella pass.

We got a light rain here in the springs in the last half hour or so. Nuthin too serious.

Hope everything is okay with the roof and flashing. Doesn't sound like anything is damaged though.

really?

I was up with the family off of Mammoth Gulch out of RollinsVille for afternoon picnic / hike and got hit by the storm and hail, must have been 15-20-minutes of nothing but hiding in the car.

Weird

Up here on the more northern end of the springs, we got 30min or so of much, much gentler rain. Good for my tomatoes.

We got hit with about an inch in 45 minutes last night about 2300 near Colfax and Tower. I had to close the door from the bedroom to the upstairs deck because of the noise.

Welcome to the mountains.

I was fully expecting to get wet. Had the saws set up outside, doing some cabinet work.

I think "Rain and Hail: Part Deux" is about to start. It sounds bad. It looks worse.

Yeah, it never materialized. Everything passed north and south. It's been raining lightly all night and all day, though...just a steady, light rain. Not the turd floater kind of downpour.

Medium steady rain, all night, here. Kinda like it started last Sept.
