A recent oil change thread got me thinking...
I think it might be nice to own one of those automotive scissor lifts. I'm thinking of something that would raise the car 18-36 inches to make oil changes easier and allow for quick tire rotations and brake jobs.
I've done a little searching online, but figured I'd check here to see if any of the forum members sell these things or if anyone has any words of advice good or bad. I'd love to eventually own a full-blown lift, but that's not in the cards right now due to lack of shop space. I've only got a 2-car garage with 10' ceilings.
Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.

I've owned one of those before. It was very convenient but I did not have full access to the undercarriage. I had it shipped to my place. Here is a pic of it. The ramps you see are not needed if you are is reg height, my S2000 was lowered and would not clear.

Call me later , you can use my bumper jack, as needed. It will lift my truck high enough to sit under the front end.

Hmm. Depending on the dimensions, that 4-poster might work...
Who in Denver stocks them?
Thanks!

My guy who deals with the suppliers is out of town till mid aug, so unable to get his suppliers info. You want the caster / roller kit, jacks for lifting sections of vehicle off ramp to service / tires, brakes, shocks etc.
Measure height of your vehicle, add it to lift height when fully elevated. You able to utilize or calling ins company, due to roof of that collector plate Porsche being crushed. How often you you plan on using lift. The occasional fluid change, or you going to do some serious repairs and preventive maintenance .
There are also 1/2 lifts, which might fit your needs.
