6" water around the house up here.
Is the storm heading towards the metro area? Just really cloudy now
I don't know about you folks but I think this warning thing is a bunch of shit. COS has been under a severe weather warning for the whole week. It has rained for 15 minutes total probably. Don't know how many times they've broken into TV shows to tell us Black Forest and Hwy 24 are gonna wash away.

Not be a dick, but I get 3 or 4 "Flash Flood Warning"s a week now on my phone. Yeah, the floods last year were bad, but folks are just ignoring the warnings now when the normal 1/2 hour thunderstorm comes through and it's awesome sunshine 5 minutes later.
That's what I mean. Keep shoving it down our throats and people will ignore it. Then when folks really need the warning they'll probably just blow it off.
Not sure about other mil bases but on Schriever we've been getting 8-10 weather warnings a day over the computer pop-up thingy.
Now of course if they don't do a warning and something happens then the city, the weather man, the cops, the fire trucks etc will all get sued.
