6" water around the house. on way home front of hatchback was under water like i'm skipping swells. Visibility 1 car length Tops.

Haven't seen this much rain & hail since we lived back east, during hurricane season.

reverse 911 just warned us to GET TO HIGHER GROUND. Flooded intersections, low areas under water.

town said to stay off roads unless you're an emergency vehicle. The storm is literally sitting over windsor, wind slowed down.

Got a bunch of rain here in FoCo, but don't know about flooding (not permitted to drive again until tomorrow). I know the weather channel has expanded its flash flood warning to Windsor for the next few hours.

I just drove from 120th and Wadsworth to 120th and I25. Some rain and a little wind but not much. Most of the clouds seem to moving east. The radio was sending NWS bulletins about flooding in Windsor.

Amazing.

I was standing at the fire station at the Ft. Collins-Loveland airport chit-chatting in the lobby this afternoon as the storm rolled in. It hit the northern edge of the airport/runway, but we didn't get much more than sprinkles at the fire station a 1/2 mile away. As I left the airport via the frontage road that parallels I-25, I noticed that the traffic was really backed up, but that happens on a fairly regular basis anyway so I didn't think much of it. I stopped at Sam's on the way home and never had to use more than intermittent wipers all the way to my house in northwest Loveland. I just poked my head out the back porch and the greenbelt behind my house is wet, but there's definitely no standing water. Amazing how localized the intense rain can be.

I guess I need to call my elderly mother in southwest Fort Collins and make sure she's OK...

Hope everyone made it through alright.

Yah. Me and Chuck...

Just talked with my Mom and she's fine and her house is fine. Also heard all about the sale she caught at JCPenny's on old lady apparel and the square dance outfit she's been sewing on all day. In case anyone is interested… the lunch date she had with a fellow church lady over here in Loveland went well, too. Gotta love moms...

With unstocked fish pond, The wind really did a number water damage wise. Getting what would be a heavy rain up and under eaves, roof vents etc.

Raining pretty good here now, and has been on and off all day. My sump pump is turning on regularly. Thank God we installed that thing before last year.

On a less serious note, put up a tarp tent for the kids to play in today before the rain started. It's been up all night and still dry as a bone in there. Think we're going to camp out tomorrow night.
