The local gun shop says they are desperate for primers and want me to bring in the 4k plus that I have but no longer have a use for. Can a few of you guys give me an idea on the current market value so I can go in there armed with some idea?
Here's what I have exactly.
1000 Federal #205 Match Small Rifle primers
2000 CCI 200 Large Rifle primers
1000 Winchester WLR Large Rifle Primers
Any info you can throw my way would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I also have an unopened can of IMR 4350 and an opened 95% full can of IMR 4895.
Any idea about them?
Thanks for the help.

I hate to say this but, here it goes anyway... You will probably make more money by selling those on Gunbroker. There are a lot of foolish people paying stupid-amounts of money for primers on that site.

It's all about supply and demand. There is no supply right now and a lot of demand. So, people are paying whatever it costs to get what they want! Your right, Gunbroker is the way to go here.

Fed Match primers are going for $35 per 1,000
CCI and Win primers are about $30 per 1000
1 lb of IMR 4350 and 4895 are going for $20-22
These are based on prices at Green Mtn right now.

From Graf & Son's:

Federal 205M small-rifle match primers - $33.35/k

THAT JUST SUCKS..... WE CANT GET PRIMERS... MOST OF US...
AND YOU WANT TO SELL OUT TO SOME RETAIL RIP OFF...

I haven't reloaded much recently. Are all reloading components in that short of a supply? Should I start looking for some more 200 gr Nosler Accubonds for my .30-06, or are the hunting calibers still in stock?

Dude, you could be screwed. The cubbards are bare.
Hunting components, too? Damn!
just put them up for sale on here and you will have them sold within a few hours as long as the prices are retarded.
you could easily get $35/1K for the primers and $25 for your powder.

The guy who owns my local gun shop gave me $175 for the primers and some misc. brass I had with them. If you want to buy from him his name is Rick. He owns Nimrod's Outdoors in Florissant.

Like said above, you are probably best off using a CCI #34 primer for your Garand ammo. I cant get any right now so I have been using regular CCI Large Rifle primers without a problem. Ive been told Remington primers are hard and can be used in place of a military primer too. but I dont have any Remington LR primers left either Luckily I do have several Thousand CCI LR primers and hopefully they will continue to perform well.
