View Full Version : Any Parker LEO's in the house?
Your two fellow officers running radar down by the Village Inn this morning seem to have a death wish. I drive through Parker from the south every morning around 4:45am and you guys always are running radar there and in your two other favorite spots. Well today they decided to try a new tactic and stand on the side of the road instead of sitting in their car. I roll through at 45mph and I'm not more than 10 feet away before I see them standing there. Black uniforms at night with no other light makes for a good speed trap but I'm not sure what their plan was to stop you if you are actually speeding but I'm thinking jumping out in front of a car and yelling stop will not be very effective. So please could you stay in your car so I don't roll up on an accident and in up late to work.

A personal meeting with or letter to the Chief may ease your mind ...and sounds warranted. Or just complain on a random internet forum.
I'm sure their other car is just ahead ready to pull you over.

I actually got pulled over twice by an officer on "foot". They walk into the streets and pointed me to pull over.

My third day back home from the Navy, I was HAULING ASS down Buckley, doing about 50. As I am passing pickens tech a cop jumps out in front of my ol' mans truck. He was about 30' away, I slammed on the brakes and he still had to put his hand on the hood. I pushed him back about 4'. I was wrong for speeding but WTF right? I damn near killed the guy. I get what the OP is saying/
