Have you shot one w/ the RMR? The couple people I know with RMR on their glock ended up going back to stock. It sits high, the red dot is too small to matter. Cost is pretty high for what you barely gain.

^^ This ^^ Looks nice and fun to shoot, just not all the time using a RD.

Where or whom did you get this info from? I'm thinking of doing the same and I've heard the exact opposite. The RMR milled into the slide allows you to use suppressor height sights and with 3.5, 7, 9, and 11 MOA dot/triangles, then what size is too small to matter? What were the perceived gains, or lack thereof?

Do it and give the rest of us more feedback. If you like it, super!

I shot one, I didn't like it. A member here also has one on a mount instead of milled slide, he didn't shoot any better ;) and like said know of couple others who don't like it.

Pm me if you want to shoot one,Ian. But I have the feeling you already knew who has one.

One can get used to/train in anything. When I pick up an M&P or a 1911 or a Smith Revo, I can close my eyes, bring it up and when I open my eyes the sights are aligned. Nothing else right now, but it used to be that way for Glocks. Open guns, slide mounted red dots, not even close.

I RO'd a berm at the CTC match for media...S&W had about 15 guns, Kimber 17 guns and CTC had 12 guns. A few were natural POA for me, but even the CORE was a tad off and felt odd. The other slide mounted Red dots were a bit worse. Now I could adjust and get hits. Towards the end of like 4K rounds in 3 hours, were were shooting them upside down with the pinky as the trigger finger. Then, the red dots were easier. [ROFL2]Shot the new Kimber Micro and Nano (both right side up and upside down) and they were both very nice BTW.
