Started a new fantasy football league, but had TWO people bail at the last minute. We found some new blood, but still need a tenth man.
Here's the deal: $50 buy in. Winner takes 75%, runner up takes 25%-if you make the championship, you make money. No IDP, standard scoring format. QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R/T, K, DEF.
Draft is on the 24th (Sunday) at 2 PM at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Park Meadows. We're doing a live draft, so you can actually eat some wings and drink a beer, shoot the shit, and hang out instead of sitting in front of a computer. I'm the commissioner, so you can always get in touch for questions.
I'd love to have a fellow shooter come join us. We're all gun guys and good people.

Good luck not finding a flake.
I'd play but you guys would cry like babies when I won.
Maybe Michael Sam? To each his own, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Put your money where your mouth is. You want in?

I'd drop $50. BUT i don't drive, not located any where you folks are, have minimal experience with football, etc

Lol. I usually play with the same group every year. The guy that runs our league said he is going to do it again this year but I haven't heard anything from him yet. I usually don't play for money. I should though. I usually finish first or second in our league just about every year. Not sure about doing the draft in person either. My schedule is usually pretty packed so doing it on line is always best for me.
Let me me shoot my guy a message to see what's going on. If he decided he doesn't want to do it any more or doesn't want me back because I always win I might be interested.

Sounds the like the kind of guy they would want to play against. [Coffee]

Well, the 10th man has been found! Ray, we'll have to find a way to see if you're as good as you say you are. Thanks, all.

I don't shoot pool either;)
First off you need real football. With all the rules and changes soon you will be watching flag ball and loving it.
Or ballet.

I wouldn't necessarily say I'm "good". Maybe a bit more luck involved on my part. Or maybe I surround myself with idiots so I can look like a genius.

Good luck on your draft.
So if I bring Jim down, are you going to do a twelve man league? Not committing, just considering.

If you can guarantee two more guys, I'm more than willing to do a 12 man. I can't complain about another $100 in the pot.
Twelve man leagues are brutal. I hate starting a running back and hoping he gets a few carries. Lol.

I've played an 8 man, and that was the most obnoxiously-stacked team in history. 10 mans are perfect IMO, but I'd be willing to give a 12 a go.
