When I look outside and see JeffCO Sheriff using my truck as a shield from whoever they were attempting to arrest.

Two arrests total. Looked like it was the Drug Unit. Wouldn't surprise me with the amount of folks I see come and go from that apartment complex.

My truck, my rules?

They were likely just hiding behind the bumper.
Use any available cover.
Did you expect a "thank you" for providing available cover? [LOL]
Did you remotely set off your car alarm? :D
sent from a soup can and some string..

It was meant as a joke.
I'm sure you went out after they left, just to make certain they didn't leave any scratches.

I have a remote start. I was thinking about starting it and seeing what they did.
I was a bit worried about armed meth head trying to make his way into my house.

His truck has a lift kit, the mrap is hidden behind.
If they were taking cover behind my truck they would probably be raiding my house.
A guy killed him self in my cousin's rear bumper while surrounded by cops about two years ago. After he was confirmed dead, the swat snipers came out of the back yard.

Luckily you would hear them coming with that noisy porch of yours. [Coffee]

Lol. Yeah. It hasn't changed. Still needs work.

How does somebody get "in" a bumper?
Auto correct. I meant "on."
EDIT: I couldn't have thought of a better 20,000th post if I tried. Ha!
That's why I park mine in the garage. I would be charging for damage if my truck got so much as a scratch on it.

My truck is too tall & too long for my garage.. I need a bigger house.
I think the coolest part of the story is you caught him and actually got off a picture.
How do you arrest someone from behind a truck? I'm waiting for the part where you marched out onto the lawn, garden hose in hand and yelled, "Come on now, that perp ain't gonna arrest hisself!"

Absolutely. I'm not a text / picture, but that one, hell my ex would on that list.

That only happens if the truck gets shot [Coffee]

Would it be considered an act of god or uninsured motorist if they damaged your truck ?
TEAM AMERICA, STEP AWAY.

Missiles are covered by comprehensive.

even if they're uninsured drivers?
Yeah. Doesn't matter if the other person is insured or not so long as he has the coverage. Insurance can still subrogate for their money, and his deductible, back but they know they'll never get anything from a dead beat.
This is all assuming we're still talking about bullet impacts to the car of course.

The cop was behind my truck for about ten-fifteen minutes. There was also another guy across the street lying behind a big tree aiming his AR at the apartments as well and a guy down the street a little behind my truck with a glock or similar hiding behind his explorer.
The truck is way too big to fit in my garage - it barely made it in when it was stock - never mind with the lift on it now.
According to my neighbor (who knows if this is correct), the young kid that got arrested cut his ankle monitor off. I would assume they don't send JeffCo Sheriff out with their ARs drawn for cutting an ankle monitor so I would guess there was more going on.

Depending on his previous violations, you bet your ass they will react in this manner.

There were two blond female cops.
