**Thanks for the advice guys, stopped by Ace, good to go now**

Ok, I'm an idiot, I was changing the grip on my AR, took off the original, then got called away for awhile. Came back to it and I'll be dipped if I can find the screw/washer to hold on the new grip!! Where in the south Denver area can I get a new one without buying a complete spare parts kit? And if I were to buy a kit which is the recommended brand (the gun is a Colt 6920)?

This idiot thanks you.

1/4-28 thread x 1". Any decent hardware store carries them. Make it easier to install, buy a socket head, instead of regular screw instead.

I swear, the Magpul grip I just installed could stay on WITHOUT a screw. I've done a lot of them, but this one was so tight I had to spread it apart with tools before getting it to go on. Even then, I had to pound it on with a rubber mallet.
