The guy doing this demo is a Fox News "law enforcement expert" (can't recall his name but he's a retired cop turned attorney, I think). After watching the first 30 seconds of this video I was double face-palming and wondering why Fox couldn't find someone who actually knows how to handle a gun and explain it's function.

I was especially impressed with how he racked the slide...when a round was already chambered.

I made it to 3:10 and had to stop. He's having this conversation with a loaded chamber, hammer cocked. At least he didn't cover the camera person with the muzzle but the way he demonstrated the walk I just had to shake my head. I think at this point, enough is enough with the speculation. The video before that one with Megan Kelley and some civil rights guy really pissed me off. He was literally just making the story up as he went and she was trying to tell him he was wrong but he would have none of it.

Even though he sounds like a doofus and all, he did have some pretty decent information in regards to the case.

..and his finger on the trigger for a good part of it

He obviously can't find the decocker either.

Running his mouth with an SAO/DAO Sig running hot.

And he did muzzle sweep the reporter near the end when they walked back to look at spent cartridges.

What a doofus.

Look at the finger resting on the trigger the entire time! Scares me to death.

Not a good choice for a firearms expert by any means. I like the aggressive forward motion while he's shooting, it fits right in with the mainstream media crap. Dumb move by FOX on this one.

R.Lee Ermey would have been a MUCH better choice.

Apparently the AMAZING thing about the Sig P229 is the fact that it has a 12 round mag? Someone save us from these death machines!

Not all of them.

Mine have evil 14 rd mags too.

Can you imagine the outrage if that weapon had been a 9mm Sig with a super evil 20 rd mag, or one of those super deadly Glocks that hold 19?

I like how he asserts that the officer unloaded the pistol on the suspect until it was empty. That's some wild speculation. If the officer got hits and the suspect went down, no need to use 'em all.

Ammo is expensive.

Once I saw a live round ejected after he'd been standing there babbling, I was done.

Also, how has no one noticed the "expert's" lack of trigger discipline? The lack of knowledge that this expert has is astounding.

Still beats the rubber bullets expert.

Meh not the same.. the rubber bullets thing was a reporter Asking for confirmation if they were rubber bullets not just saying he was an expert and claiming they were rubber bullets...

Okay, I made it to his abominable run to slide lock and have cashed out for good. I really can't take stuff like that.

The problem is if one of us ran the demo it be like Einstein explaining relativity to a caveman, considering most people's understanding of guns.

I couldn't watch all of it. He didn't sound like an expert, and I don't appreciate the less than ideal handling of that poor P229.
