Looks like he's got a light mounted, too. Hmmm....

That dude's just beggin' for someone with a little training to do a take away and shoot him in the face with his "own" (my guess is it's stolen) gun.

That is a tough one because the other person, not shown in the video, Karen apparently had a gun held in her face by a second criminal. Unless you are real confident that you can pull off a "Yo homie, that my briefcase," without getting Karen shot, it may be best to hand over your cash and wait for a better opportunity.

Obviously, the male and Karen probably made their first few mistakes when they chose to sit in a darkened, closed, patio area, and failed to maintain good situational awareness. Some mistakes we learn from and some mistakes cost us.

Be safe.

It sure looks to me like the victim guy and the asshat, scumbag, vermin were both concerned about what was going on with the other two.

But a "darkened, closed, patio area" seems like the perfect place for a first date. [Sarcasm2]

Wish they were both CCW carriers and the story was about 2 dead young black males killed in attempted robbery instead of suspects wanted...maybe next time.

well, at least he's following ONE of the firearms safety rules.

You're right. I didn't watch the video that included the news story...just the raw security camera video so I didn't know there were others involved. Should've clicked the link. In this situation it would be a tough call.

Holy Christ, ....me and the guys from work do take out from there for lunch on Fridays sometimes.

Mr. Perp would have been seriously messed up if that was me having a nice dinner out on the patio last night. I hate douchebags.

well, at least he's following ONE of the firearms safety rules.

I was thinking some scumbag lawyer would try and make a case that he's not really threatening them because his finger is not on the trigger.

but prosecution could counter that if he knows ONE of the firearm safety rules, he probably knows the others- and "never point a gun at something you're not willing to destroy" would be a sticking point.

[Sarcasm2] The above should not be considered an actual argument, just the nonsensical ravings of a lunatic mind...
