Do we have a metal distributor on board in NoCo? I am finishing a trailer for my atv's and need the following:

80"x103" expanded raised metal (3/4") or what ever size it comes in to cover that.

(3) 6' sticks of 2x2" 1/4" square tubing. Possibly 3/16 depending on price.

Anyone use some that is decent priced? I called around and got quoted $53 for a sheet of expanded metal (need two) and about $4 a foot for the square tubing.

I have bought from Valley Steel and Wire and they were cheaper than anyone else for what I was buying.

Valley steel. OR take some time and walk, andersons ? in greeley. You'd be surprised how many projects i've done using them, if morey didn't have it.

I'll check with my neighbor and see what he has. You only wanting new square stock, or will used do?

just go to Revelation, they are in Greeley and have everything you need.
none of the suppliers are going to sell steel for much lower price. they are all going to be very close in price.

Revelation Steel, Valley Steel & Wire, R&S Steel, Puma Steel in Cheyenne...all good companies that we do business with on a regular basis.

Try Bill at the welding shop in Platteville, I bought the bits and pieces I needed to rebuild my BBQ pit(s) from him at a small markup over his cost. Colorado Wire is about 2 blocks further south but they were a little higher.

That's who I am going with. I figured pricing was going to be the same across the board but if I could support a board member, I would. They are a local business so they are the next closest thing. Thanks for the tips guys.
