Its as easy as typing your question into the search section.
I dont see how anyone could have a hard time using it.

Some people are simply too lazy to do anything for themselves these days.

Why bother with a little research when you can just get someone else to tell you the answer.

Sign of the times.

I'll go out on a limb and say that it probably takes more time to create a thread and check back on it, than it does to just look for the answer yourself.

To the OP I suggest if you want to find anything decent get there at least an hour early and 1.5 to 2 hours might not be bad. That way you can run to MGT which is about the only place worth buying anything from and get there before they sell out of stuff.

Where is MGT? And who typically has the best deals on ammo?

Last time I was there they were more or less straight back from the main entrance. Big Machine Gun Tours banner and if you aren't there in the first 10 minutes they are open you can find them by looking for the booth selling stuff like crazy and not having many lookie-loos.

That's exactly what kept me from buying a couple lowers you had last time, I just wont deal with folks who act like they're doing me some sort of favor by selling me something (especially when we're standing in a large building full of other dealers LOL)

Please feel free to take your business to whoever you wish. It is your right as a free American.

Please also feel free to pay their higher prices as well.

I really didnt see anything there that I couldnt find at the same (if not better) price elsewhere. When I hand my hard earned cash over to a merchant, that's me doing them a favor not the other way around - some dealers just don't seem to grasp this concept. Sorry but I wont deal with anybody's bs just to save a few dollars, thats just me though.

Then please by all means excersize the free will that hundreds of thousands of Americans have died to preserve for you and shop elsewhere with our blessings.

I'm with you Graves. I noticed some of that this time around. Especially one guy selling ammo in the very back to the far left of the food area. When I asked for a 250 pack, he really didn't have to acted annoyed and smart ass, as if I should have known they were sold out. Even though their sign clearly did not have 9mm listed as being sold out. However the other guy was a little more adult about, so who knows. Anyone know what they call their operation? They had a Big yellow handwritten sign. Almost in the far back corner opposite side as the food vendor. They sold nothing but ammo.

Either way, a $5-$10 price difference doesn't matter much to me when I know I am supporting a merchant who appreciates his customers and quite frankly is more deserving of the business.

You keep saying that. Why? I think he gets the point. Since he obviously exercised that right already. No sense in trying to throw your patriotism at him. I'm glad he said something though, because now I know who to avoid. (thats right, I too know how to exercise my free will)

Its pretty obvious that he struck a nerve by saying that. I understand though, the truth hurts. BTW, your prices weren't really as low as you seem to think.

I usually stay away from tables with really nice stuff that I am looking for. Why? I know that their prices are outrageous. It has nothing to do with patriotism either, its all economics and I can't afford $350 for a scope mount for Cetme.

To the OP 9am-5pm sat 9am-4pm sunday. Tannergunshow.com is your friend.

Well if you found Magpul in that show lower than we had it I would be very very suprised.

online is cheaper and the way to go IMO. you save on tax (which i hate paying), pay the shipping but if the order is large enough you are good to go.

AIM surplus has Pmags in stock, great prices and .01 cent shipping. they didn't raise their prices.[Beer]

Machine Gun Tours is having a show special at Tanner tommorow. Stripped Sabre lowers for $120 EACH plus tax and credit card if applicpable.

I will have some other specials as well so come buy and check them out.

I spent most of my time at the AK parts supplier. Got what I needed. Not the best prices, but didn't have to pay shipping. Most of the ammo was gone by the time I got there. At least what I was looking for. There were a couple old snotty fucks that needed an attitude adjustment. If your selling shit, expect questions.

As to the original poster I think we are here to help each other out and help exchange information. He had never been to tanner and was trying to get a little insite on things.

So to help him out he came in with me at (8AM) so he got to shop the show for a hour before it opened. I showed him around so he could get a ideal who had what and who would deal with him so he could get what he wanted for the best price.

Maybe its just me but I like helping somebody out and he is a truely nice guy also.

I think he left a happy person and had a good experience.

As far as the show went from what I observed it is slowing down quite alot from november. I even see ammunition prices starting to come down.

As far as firearms go to me the supply of certain pistols and to a greater extent rifles are becoming readily easier to get.

I have seen quite a few collector guns come up for sale at a very good price in the last few months. It could be the economy or someone trying to buy some ar's or something. I think it is a combination of alot of things and they might not be the same for everyone. I picked up a prewar 1941 colt 1911a1 and a byf43 p38.

I was there sunday mid morning, nice, no huge crowds, walked right in, was able to browse without being pushed to the side... not sure how saturday was... but nice for a change to see things a little more "calm" - prices are stable or lowering...
