Anyone else going tomorrow? Colorado Springs Memorial Park, Pikes Peak between Hancock and Union. Balloons launch early.

I might be there. It's too bad the city of Colorado Springs chased them away with their statist regulations and fees. Unless something changes, this is their last year here. :(

The CEO was interviewed on KVOR last week and pretty much gave no hope of them coming back, not even a "if the city unf---ks itself" hope. I'm thinking about going since it'll be the last one here.

I thought it was the 39th, but yeah, I just came from there and going another bunch of times. We have the VIP parking pass, and want to get a lot of use out of it!

Ned. is in the process of f***ing itself out of the largest event of the year. What used to be free, they now want full price for. The sales tax revenue just isn't enough. [Shake]

Larkspur almost did that to itself -- tried to extort more money out of the RenFest but backed down when the RenFest threatened to move. Right now in the Springs, I'd like to kick out everyone on City Council except Knight and Collins.

Was there this AM. It was pretty cool, not too crowded and lots of weird stuff to eat. Alligator and shark on a stick and butterfly fries for example.
