Comic Con was fine, almost too crowded for my tastes this year. There were some pretty ladies dressed up (or down) in various costumes, some attractive ladies, a few who were damned hot, and a bunch of not-so-attractive people who shouldn't be allowed within 100 yards of spandex ... Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn were very popular characters this year and I think a friend of mine was the hottest Poison Ivy there (unfortunately already happily married).

At DCC on Sunday there was a group of 5 very hot women dressed in costumes that made Slave Leia outfits seem like a Mennonite dress. I think they were asked to leave given their attitudes when I saw them outside as I was getting some lunch. On Saturday I was asked by a lot of people for pics in my Sith Lord outfit, to include a selfie with some good looking girls in MLP outfits. The most fun pics I took was with an 8 or 9 year old in a really nice Jedi outfit that her dad got some "action" shots with lightsabers and one of me jumping back and her posing like she threw me back with the force.

I saw madness tonight at the rec center...mom totally tatted up which is cool, but then several dozen piercings, then a half shaved head with solid black hair spiked and halfway up it was solid white....then her son already had a lot of purple hair....and was already dressed to play for the other team...he is going to get picked on growing up.


then on the drive home we saw not 1, but 2 different moms on motorcycles, no helmets, and with their daughters riding as passengers (with helmets thankfully), although the moms were obviously bothered since both of them had ear buds in. WTF over?

Sorry for the late reply! ComicCon was great! This was the first one we attended; hubby was dressed as the War Doctor and I was a Weeping Angel. It was crowded, but really fun and I'm working on our costumes for next year already (PsiCops.) :)

In all the excitement of the con, and the last-minute sewing and gluing and fixing the wing braces (each wing was 3',) it never occurred to either one of us to get a photo of me in my costume. I do have some shots of him, though. I need to dig through my camera and I'll post some pics of my War Doctor hubby. :)


Okay, here we go. He was goofing around with the Gollum statue in the Lord of the Rings section.
