There has always been a big arguement over weither or not criminals should still have right once they brake the law when it is more than clear that they are doing so at the time....Like robing a store or somthing and then you shoot them once in the head, then walk up and unload the rest of the ammo you got into them....keep in mind this is all caught on camera....

My opinion is: Too bad there was a video! In my mind, the crooks in that case got just what was coming to them and the shooter (is he a pharmacist?) should be given a medal for ridding the community of this scum.

I would have to say that Foxtrot summed it up pretty good.
I still like to believe that if someone broke in my house and me shooting them didn't kill them, I would offer medical assistance until the paramedics/police come.
Who knows though.
You gotta have some issues though to walk up and keep shooting after they're down.

True that.. thats why my first shot is better be IT. however...
Then, in a scene recorded by the drugstore's security camera, he went behind the counter, got another gun, and pumped five more bullets into the wounded teenager as he lay on the floor.
That's just sick; On the other hand...
Convicted burglar Kurt Prochaska is proceeding with his lawsuit against the doctor who shot him after he broke into the doctor's house.

and.. if you aren't qualified to apply the needed medical assistance.. you might be sued too. Gosh, I hope I never had to confront any burglars.

I'll be done with nursing school at some point. Hopefully they don't rob me until after I've taken the NCLEX exam! [ROFL3]

Just curious. What kind of money can you make starting out in the nursing field?
All though the video is proof of the event that took place, what is does not show is what the intruder was doing off camera. Yes he was shot, he fell off camera, he had a backpack. Was he still holding a weapon? Was he going for a weapon in the backpack? Don't know.
But that store was robbed a month prior. One of the ladies who works there was pistol whipped. The man who defended the store was in a full back brace and is 100% disabled, if that guy got back up would he beable to fight off a man that is not disabled?
The state filled 1st degree murder charges on him. I think this is a good thing because he will not be convicted of first degree murder. Just my .02

I'm going for RN. Most jobs have a starting pay of at least $26 per hour (50k). My mom was an emergency room RN for Denver General (now Denver Health) and she was making $41 an hour (79k).
As long as you don't mind all of the things that can come out of the human body and don't mind seeing what kind of fucked up things can happen to the human body, it's a great career field. lol
Damn near recession proof too.

If the jury is allowed to consider a lesser charge then I see a conviction.
