S&W Hand Ejectors

I picked up this .22LR a couple years ago and just got around to researching it.

Its a 1953 model 22/32 kit gun.
Its flat latch, cases seat flush with the face of the cyl and has 4 screws.
Its an early version with the serrated trigger and semi-target hammer, both case hardened.
SN puts the year of manufacture 1953.

I believe the finish to be the original one it came with, it has some lite holster ware but nothing bad.

How pre-61 did you want to get? Maybe a 1st year production 2nd model? 1877

This 1917 dates to 1918, belonged to an old friend, he had it reblued (unfortunately) but the bore/chambers are in great shape. His widow wanted my older son to have it (he's an Army E6 and felt it was appropriate) to remember his "uncle". It's a great shooter.

Here's a 2nd Model HE, .44spl, made in 1925 originally nickel and was renickeled by S&W in 1957 (have the historical letter), belonged to my same friend as the above. I'm keeping it for his widow until she can have a safe place to keep it.
