View Full Version : Plate carrier...for a very little person.

This is for a 4 year old. It looks like it will fit 3-7 years old no problem. So, it will grow with this persons child, if they still like it in a couple years. That is why its not as form fitting as ours. I think most of us are done growing. (except the belly). I wanted it to be comfortable for playing in.

I didnt actually do a plate pocket. I thought about it... then decide not to. If you bought some closed cell foam about 3/8"-1/2" you could make a little set of plates for it.

I know from trying one with a pattern your labor can not be recouped. The material is cheap to buy, telling some one you have 5-8 + hours in to a pack. An individual cannot compete with mass produced product. Besides when does one have time after work, chores, time with kids to sit down, spend 5+ hours making something. My $0.02 from giving it a go.

It looks kind of gold/tan in the first 2 pics but looks more blue in the last pic. What's up with that?

Joking aside I remember seeing some packs you made a while back. Impressive, all your stuff looks great.
