Foo Foo Cinnamon Cider Beer - Must be time for Fall

The leaves here have started to turn. The first day of fall is Tuesday (I think). I've always enjoyed a good cider, but the cinnamon apple stuff from Angry Orchard just instantly makes me feel "fall" - tastes like Halloween night or something. Had a few tonight, and I have to say I enjoy it. It's no "beer" but if you like spiced cider, you'll probably like this one.

It's been a weird summer. Lots of rain and weird weather. I've hardly had the smoker or grill running near as much as a usual summer. Made it up into the mountains about half as much as usual, and only about 1/3 as much time at the range as a usual summer. Hard to believe it's almost over. It's been a good summer, but I'm sad to see it leaving so soon. Was hoping to hit the range tomorrow afternoon, but they tell me it's thunderstorm weather - might go anyway. :)

I tried their cinnamon last year, and it was ok. I do keep their regular cider around at all times. It's good to drink, and I've used it as the liquid base for my pulled pork injection the last few times. Marinates chicken really well too, smoked some leg quarters and put the marinade and another half bottle of cider in my smoker's water bowl once.

If you really have to have it the Costco sample pack has 6 of them in it. Year round.

Haven't tried Angry Orchard's fall version, but I love Woodchuck's Fall cider. Of course, when I went to the store last week, they were still on summer :/
