Hello everyone, I am here to learn about a gun that I know almost nothing about, but interests me very much. Are there left-handed AR-15s??? Hope to enjoy conversing eith you folks.

Howdy, and welcome! I think Stag Arms makes a left hand model.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

I'll have to check out Stag and see. I shot a friend's AR, but with brass flying out the right-hand side it was hard to concentrate and I kept worrying about being hit by hot brass. I need a lefty version!

My name comes from one of my hobbies, an Amateur Gem Cutter. That's what my "business" is called, that's what my handle is with that stuff.

Welcome aboard.

Interesting handle/username. Is there a story behind it?

Hi and Welcome Yupp Stag makes the only lefty ar that I know of. I have talk to several lefties and they have all said they love the Stag.

Ah yes. It was late and somehow I totally missed that post.

As far as lefty AR's, for a while there were several manufacturers providing lefty AR's (though most weren't true, or fully, lefty guns). Other than Stag, I havent heard of any manufacturers still making the lefty AR; their loss. I purchased a Stag 1L last summer and it's been great. Functions well and no more brass in my face or down my shirt. While I can't speak for any of their others guns, the 1L is truely a 100% Lefty gun. Their website does show about a $100 increase in this rifle since last year, but a high-volume dealer could probably get you a little bit of a break on the cost.
