Everyone remember the moms down in Douglas County putting all the Dem School Board names on the cars?

As much as it was annoying it was a pretty effective way to get the names out. I think it made things a lot closer in the end...

Has anyone heard of anything being organized for the upcoming election? I think the school board people actually had an organized group that would write it on the cars. Sort of like a drive in. Maybe the local gun shops would be willing to participate?

Would be good to see cars all over Colorado with something good written on the back.

I propose this:

HICK IS BLOOMBERG'S BITCH & U R 2 IF YOU VOTE FOR HIM!!

Beta test and give us some feedback. Those vindictive, ovarian pockets of air will probably slash your tires, in the name of diversity.

I'd go with a positive sticker, something some like "Moms for Bob Beauprez". Or "trust your kids future to Bob Beaurprez"

Sniper's on the right track- while I agree with your slogan, the demographic you are trying to sway is NOT going to be...
Your target demographic is moderate "independents" (unaffiliated voters)
They decide virtually EVERY election that is state-wide in Colorado.

Your choice of slogan gets you labelled by them as a right-wing "wacko" and dismissed (no offence intended)

Try something that would appeal better to your average middle-ware voter that doesn't pay enough attention that a slogan on a car may sway them.
Make it catchy, and they'll remember it, maybe more than ads they chose to ignore because they were sick of hearing that political crap...
Make it apply to them and their lives, not just a political issue that they don't care to be involved with.

That's my 2 copper-coated zinc disc's worth of input.
That being said, I'm unlikely to participate because I live in a county that is as RED as they come in CO.

how about an honest bumper sticker for once?

Something like all politicans are evil, scum, lying pieces of shit, only care about themselves and the lowest form of life BUT given the choice you should vote for Bob.
If you send me this on a sticker, I'll put it on my truck.

Would you settle for me etching it on your tailgate with my Spyderco? I'll even run it across your hood in reverse image if you like.

That's rude.

But Original. AND Environmentally friendly, as no paper products were used.

And it will save weight because you will have less paint to haul around, should improve MPG, especially if the best aerodynamic angle of the spyderco is used.

Yeah, this is where it's at. My original post wasn't as much about the exact message but more about if anyone is planning on doing something like this? Not really something I can start on my own and be very successful but I think if some of the local gunstores would get on board, it could go a long way in getting the word out for pro 2A candidates. Maybe Centennial Gun Club, DCF Guns, Cabela's even, if these places organized a rally of sorts and offered free window messages, it could go a long way with all the pro2a folks that frequent those places.

I recall seeing a group organized for the Doug co school board last election and they had a virtual drive through going with people writing those messages on cars in a Starbucks parking lot. Literally it seemed like they had a small group writing the message on car after car that pulled up there.

Now is the time to get this stuff out there and be pro active. You watch, in the next few weeks Hick's crew will be banging this drum quite hard and these laws will never get overturned!
