Wow.

Some of the prices seem slightly off, but who am I kidding - I'm not even in the ballpark enough to worry about it.

Do these need NFA tax stamps to be transferred?

Any of the transferrable machine guns of course would need a paid tax stamp. Works more or less like a suppressor purchase. Some of them are dealer-only samples though. But there are quite a few "regular" expensive rifles, shotguns and pistols on the list too. If you've got the cash, I'm sure I could help you pick something out. ;)

What about the C&R marked machine guns? Do those qualify for just a C&R or they need NFA or not at all?

seems like the estimated values on the m16s are quite low IMO.

Maybe a fund raiser to get the financing necessary, would help?

Yeah, most of them cost more than both my wife's and my vehicles combined. But an MG-42 has always been a dream of mine, along with a Ma Deuce.

This is what I meant to ask. Didn't scroll to far down and only saw the c&r guns.

Doesn't matter if it is C&R if it is registered NFA.

I though I read somewhere that some states only allow C&R machine guns. Maybe New Jersey, and some others. I also remember something about receiving a C&R directly if you have the C&R ffl. Like another member noted, seem some are estimated quite low. Is this a market flood? will it hurt prices?

I think it's MI that insists you have to be an C&R FFL to own a machine gun. I'm sure there other weird state laws too. In theory, if you have an approved form 4, you can skip the form 3 into your dealer and have it ship direct, but you still have to get ATF approval, etc. and many dealers of course will not ship out to a C&R FFL because they're not 100% sure of the local laws in the receiving state.

Definitely not a market flood. Watch the final prices. Julia almost always gets top dollar. It's either a conservative estimate to attract a buyer, or maybe just outdated estimates. Prices have gone up so fast, they might have been valued a while ago. I haven't seen that many "deals" at any of the big house auctions. I definitely have seen some things go for more than expected however.
