Do you really think that Obama cares one bit for a .mil family?

The (D) wants them dead because that is what communists do, communists, directly or indirectly, murder the opposition.

Nothing will happen, nothing happened with Major Hassan, nothing will happen with OK, nada, nil, zero.

Oh .mil will want to do something but the CIC won't allow it.

They come after families, there will be a response. I suspect there will be a purge after the first family is hit. Too many folks have come home, too many people are not going sit idle when/if this happens.

I suspect that is the case - And I think this is happening much more than people realize. I'd be willing to bet that there are dozens, maybe even hundreds of American citizens who are over there fighting for the good cause.

This is old news. I have relatives deployed in Germany, and they were told about 3-4 weeks ago to be extra cautious because they live off base. A bunch of different thing have been provided by the US and German government to ensure their protection and hide their identity.

Update on this: http://www.theblaze.com/contributions/u-s-soldier-receives-death-threats-at-his-home-from-suspected-islamic-state-sympathizer/

U.S. Soldier Receives Death Threats at His Home From Suspected Islamic State Sympathizer

An Air Force Security Forces member received two death threats at his residence outside of Miami in Palm Beach County, from a suspected Islamic State sympathizer. He wishes to remain anonymous, so On October 9, 2014, the soldier’s wife went outside to check the mail, upon arriving at the box she noticed a handwritten note that stated “Die 11/11/14″. When she walked back up the driveway she noticed another message written on her house with a permanent marker that had a circle with a line through it, with the date written “11/11/14.” This day is very significant for many Americans. Veterans Day falls on this exact date this year. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the incident likely took place in the early morning on October 9, 2014. The soldier stated he was outside just prior to midnight on October 8th, and didn’t see anything suspicious.

The police were notified about the incident and stated they believe the threat to be “credible”. They are providing routine checks of the residence, however, the soldier and his family feel that they are not safe at home anymore. Recently an Islamic State militant posted on social media encouraging ‘lone wolfs’ to seek out veterans on Facebook and ‘slaughter’ them in their homes. These cowards don’t know how to fight, they run and hide and make threats to people when they can’t be seen. Just like the insurgency we saw in Iraq, we now have one in our own backyard. The soldier stated that there is a large Muslim population where he resides at, and any of them could have seen him outside of his home while wearing his uniform. He speaks and attends many public gatherings related to military and veteran events, which makes him a soft target for anyone looking to threaten his family. It was only last month that Muslims rallied in Miami to support the terrorist group Hamas, and attacked many Jewish Americans in the area. This area is becoming a terror hot-bed and authorities are trying to keep it covered up. He felt that it was very important to get this information out there so others can be aware. Incidents like these need to be told, so that other servicemen take it serious and remain vigilant.

Dude needs some security. Anyone want to go on a road trip next month?

That's a fantastic idea. I wish I could.

FWIW, providing security in that manner might create a higher number of relatively easy targets.

I am sure that this is just routine "workplace violence". Nothing to see. Move along, citizen.

If it's done wrong... careful planning and good observation could make all the difference-
Someone should be installing a multi-camera system with night vision right now.

Then with a secure web feed, and a conference call, we could have someone watching each camera... all feeding info to a team on-site.

OK, I went all high-tech- but I'm a network engineer, what did you expect?

oh, and I almost forgot- don't rely on the site internet (cable, dsl, etc), put in a router with 3G+ wireless backup (yeah, I know it could be jammed- but then you'd immediately go to high alert)

OPSEC, OPSEC, OPSEC. These guys are cowards, attacking the families (particularly while the member is deployed) is exactly the kind of thing these pussies would do.

Chances are, they just want to do what terrorists do- create fear... but everyone needs a plan, right?

I would totally be down for this, but I'm not playing "bodyguard" and following the guy around town.

Honestly, he probably can't afford a decent camera system.

I'm reminded of a news story from the 80s. I think it took place in CA but the locale wasn't really the issue. It seemed a soldier didn't like the drug deals occurring in his neighborhood and reported them to the cops. The dealers in question somehow found out who dropped the dime on him and were massively unhappy so decided they'd go pay him a visit but the soldier in question found out ahead of time and invited his buddies over for a barbecue. They just happened to bring some stuff with them. IIRC, the soldiers in question were SOF and the cops ended up cleaning up the dirtbags off the street, no charges pressed since the soldiers were just defending themselves while trying to eat dinner.

I know the story you're thinking of. I thought it was in Washington or something... I dunno, CA doesn't sound right though. I want to say main guy was a Ranger. I'd love to read it again if I could find it.

Already happening elsewhere... Reading this reminded me of the guys who ran over, then hacked to death, the soldier in London.

Jihadis running down soldiers seems to be gaining popularity.

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2014/10/canada-muslim-runs-down-two-soldiers-flips-car-after-chase-charges-officers-with-long-knife-is-shot?utm_source=Jihad+Watch+Daily+Digest&utm_campaign=59e3191c05-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_ffcbf57bbb-59e3191c05-123519309

Other instances of possible vehicular jihad have been shrouded in mystery. New York City cabdriver Mohammed Azam ran over two of his passengers for no apparent reason (http://www.jihadwatch.org/2011/03/islamophobia-in-new-york-city-muslim-cabbie-runs-over-two-of-his-passengers.html). Another cabbie, Hassan Daly, who was described as a “devout Muslim,” plowed his cab into a crowd on a sidewalk (http://www.jihadwatch.org/2011/02/san-diego-devoutly-muslim-cab-driver-plows-into-crowd-outside-nightclub-injuring-23.html) in San Diego, injuring over 24 people. Mohammed Reza Taheri-Azar explicitly grounded his hit-and-run in the teachings of the Koran (http://www.jihadwatch.org/2006/05/letters-from-a-mujahid.html). Munir Muthana told the police who arrested him that “the Muslims will fix this country.” (http://www.jihadwatch.org/2009/11/rochester-hit-and-run-driver-the-muslims-will-fix-this-country.html) Omeed Aziz Popal, we were told, was suffering from stress from an arranged marriage (http://www.jihadwatch.org/2006/08/sf-hit-and-run-killer-suffering-from-stress-from-arranged-marriage.html). Ismail Yassin Mohamed, we were informed, wasmentally ill, suffered from depression, and hadn’t being taking his medication (http://www.jihadwatch.org/2007/02/minneapolis-carjacker-mentally-ill-suffers-from-depression-and-hasnt-being-taking-his-medication.html). And Muhammad Teshale, according to “law enforcement officials,” (http://www.jihadwatch.org/2010/12/muslim-shuttle-driver-charged-in-series-of-hit-and-run-attacks-near-dulles-airport.html) “did it to be famous.”

That actually did happen, but it was a Tacoma suburb...Ft Lewis Rangers. Apparently, it may have happened more than once.

Found some info:
