I have reached the end my friends. I am now at the point where I have to ask my self, a couple thousand 45 acp or a few thousand 9mm. I will then be out of pistol powder. I see 22lr all over so maybe powder will be next. I can't believe I went through 16 lbs of pistol powder and haven't been able to resupply yet. [Rant2]

Heck stiff upper lip maybe some powder will fall into my hand. Then again I bet I could shit in my other hand first.

I have load data from older manuals for a bunch of powder I picked up. Most of it is 45 & 9 compatible, it's my back up powder. If we could figure logistics out I'd comp you a lb or two.

I've actually been thinking about getting a muzzle loader. Would be nice to have another season to hunt. .50 cal hawkin.

There's no powder for that either. You know it's short supply , when your lgs calls and ask if you'd be interested in selling them back some of your inventory.

Black powder can be had every where.

Well sure, but digging up the sulfur isn't much trouble. Raking manure piles for saltpetre ... that is unpleasant.

All the mushrooms you get at the same time off sets the unpleasantness.

Bobby, I'm pretty sure there are at least half a dozen kids in college right now because of your consumption of powder and bullets... but it's time to move on.

I'm sure we could duracoat a wrist rocket OD green.... mayhap even paracord wrap it.

I have a little more than a pound of WSF for the .45 cause... I think the girls are hanging out here this weekend... maybe she could grab it if you tell her where it is.

Last I looked, BassPro had some Alliant powders available online, all 1lb canisters. Using ship to store, you don't have to pay for hazmat!! They had Red Dot, Bullseye and Unique, all of which work in handgun loads!

I'd recommend hitting Sportsmans Warehouse at 1000-1030 on Monday mornings. I got a nice haul today. Not huge, but for the pace I will go at, good enough.

That's what I did.

Good tip on BassPro order to store.

Yeah, I know Cabellas ship to store still charges the haz-mat fees. I'll keep a closer eye on bass pro online.

That should hold you a week or two. I'm getting low and looking to buy some more in bulk. Probably do a b/order on line.

I love bulk. I love getting the call from the wife. There is 5 huge boxes and I can't move then when are you coming home and putting that stuff away. One day soon powder will be on the shelves and you'll be able to buy what you want when you want.

Just picked up two lbs of Titegroup for $19.99/ea at the Sportsmans at 84th and I-25. I don't know if two was the limit, or all they had.

I shall remember this. If traffic didn't suck a$$ heading home, I would have headed north to pick some up. Next time I'll but whatever is allowed and sell at cost to those who need it. Thanks for the heads up Irving!

Nice gesture, however i'd put 1/2 aside for yourself. IMO Powder is still a commodity. I've been buying any pistol powder i might use as back up, to the ones i do use. Hell I have containers of bullseye & unique almost as old as ..........
Each lb does an average of 12 - 1500 rds of hand gun. One a good weekend with family, that's almost 1 less lb in inventory.

I found 16lbs of CFE pistol which is just like HS6 so I'm back to being good!

I laid out a strip with my "discard powder" today, on the snow in the backyard. Touched it off, and was disappointed. Next time, much fatter trail of powder. My trophy wife was impressed, but obviously she is easily impressed...

I did feel a twang of guilt in "wasting" powder, but it was made up of about 6 different powders, would have been interesting to load something with it. "Start low, and work up", heh-heh!

Wow, nice score. I'd like to pick up some more CFE Pistol, have used up 3 pounds, and have 2 pounds left, and I'm very happy with the results, although my loads are very simple, so almost any pistol ammo would probably work just as well.
