Nah, I'll never be able to grow a huge beard, but even still I like to keep it trimmed for work.

Technically I have one, but I'm thinking of seeing if my coworkers (4 out of the 5 of my group have beards) would like to set up some sort of competition for "No-shave November" where we cut at the start and see who grows it out the most.

Mine grows in like straight up white trash. Neck beard and patchy on the sides with no burns, I also can grow a sweet 6th grade mexi-stache.
I keep my neck line cut with no guard(gets too itchy) but have had a beard since high school. Usually trim it up once a month but recently got a new trimmer and have been keeping it shorter, just under 3/4"
I've always wanted a big beard like ZZ Top but don't have the patients.
My trimmer is junk, so I use no guard on the trimmer with a thick comb to trim, so mine is probably only 1/4". I wish I could keep it about twice as long and trimmed.

Since 1977 in one form or another, was down to my belt buckle in 1989/90. Now I like to keep it short, just trimmed it up nice and short on monday. Good for another 2 months until it will need a trim again.

I stopped growing winter beards about 6 years ago after a kid asked if I was Santa Claus.......... Way too much gray in it.......
I grow a hunting beard most every fall. Usually start a week or two before season so my face is covered with a camo pattern of soft stubble.
In some years I'll let it grow into December but usually shave it before New Years. Wifey likes me shaved. [Coffee]
Actually, I've been contemplating shaving mine off this season.
My job doesn't allow a beard or I would be full on duck dynasty beard!

So I quit trimming it 14 yrs ago.
Crays, post a pic before you kill it.
I got one going now. We will see how long I keep it for

Shit my bad, CRAYS you're OUT as my mentor. Buffalobo is a true mentors beard. If you go to 1:53 The man his self is captured in a rare venture outside the wilds of Hoyt.

It must be damn hard to get a clean wipe............[ROFL1]
I've seen a pic of Lobo's beard, so I am not offended in the least that you have jumped ship. [not-worthy] Takes a lot of pressure off, actually.

Careful, Blaster Bob will come along and call you wet behind the ears. [blaster]
I might participate in NSN this year.
Started mine in 1994. I keep it trimmed.
...and wife has seen pictures of me without, and I'm forbidden to shave it off.
Hmm. I hate shaving. Maybe I could grow mine out until the holidays when my wife will insist I trim it up to look pretty for her family.

Mine said shaving it off would be a bad move.

You have to keep it until you get your elk all cut up and in the freezer. See how that works? :>)

As long as you shave your neck.
If you shave your neck your doing it wrong. Real beards grow straight south..
I haven't been clean shaven since 03.

I... can't grow a beard : ( I can barely grow a mustache, and then it looks like a pedo-stache. My dad couldn't grow a beard until his mid 40's.

I haven't shaved since I left the army. Grown to about 2" in as many months, but it's curly so it doesn't look as long as it is

That was in response to being itchy. I could probably grow a sweet neck beard; except there isn't any such thing as a sweet neck beard. So I have to settle for my inadequate face beard.

My beard would look kinda funny if I shaved my neck.. so I guess Ill keep my lame neck beard. haha.
My goal now is to make it a whole year with out cutting it, that's about 10mos worth.

I meant I could grow JUST a neck beard. You look a lot thinner than the last picture I saw of you.

You must have me mistaken for another hombre, I've never broken 200lbs.
I think you were just wearing a heavy jacket in the last picture. You were also wearing a Bobcat.

I've been trimming mine to a light stubble for a while, but now and then I let it go a while. Problem is it looks funny till it gets filled in so I normally shave after a couple weeks.
Here's mine so far...

I can grow a full beard in about 3 days. I had a full moustache from the time I was 18 until about 8 years ago. I shaved it all off when idiots started asking me if I was eligible for the senior discount at age 40...[ROFL1] [blaster]

I usually grow mine out until I can't stand the itching and end up shaving it off and start over. For those of you who can't grow one or don't like the itching here an option for you. They even make an orange one for hunting season!
