I'm not sure who's running it but I figured I post here from the FB page:
It's official! Our first match is going to be 10am at Pikes Peak Gun Club on November 1st!
We have partnered with PPGC, and are going to have 4 bay-style stages with lots of great steel and paper targets!
$25 match fee. 4 squad maximum with 12 person per squad max. No reservations necessary.
100/100/100 round count MAXIMUM. I'll get the stages out with official round count via email.
Em...ail SoCo3Gun@gmail.com to get on the match list.
PPGC has some rules that we MUST follow. No speeding in the parking lot. Absolutely no tracer, steel core, bimetal, etc ammo. AK and SKS guys, your ammo will be checked. No Buckshot. Birdshot is the only shotgun ammo allowed except for specific slug targets.
Nice too have a 3gun match thats about 10mins from the house, sucks I won't be able to make the first one lol.

This is a totally new group of guys and they are just getting started with a new match. They ran a few matches earlier this year at another range. This first match in Nov is a trial run to see if the match is a good fit for the gun club (should be) and for them to figure out what they need to work on over the winter. I am not on the team, but I agreed to help out while they are getting started.
This match has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to it. PPGC has some good targets, props, and berms that should make for some fun and interesting stages.
I have also been in contact with the guy putting it together and will be helping out where I can.
I would love a 3 gun match 15 mins from my house. I will be there on the 1st to support it for sure!
Today was a great match, I'm looking forward to more of these! Props to Kevin!
Kevin put on a fun day today along with all the other great people who helped set up, reset, and tear down. This match was whole lot of fun and is very close to a lot of people. Everybody interested in 3-gun should keep an eye on this one.

Thanks for coming out guys! Had a lot of fun, and some great shooters and great people out there. Hope to see more of you next time!
Any new competitors, we are going to continue to do new shooter clinics before the match, so make sure to come out for a free clinic, and either watch or shoot!

No problem Kevin, this was a great match glad I was able to make it. I used this match to kinda see how fast I can push it and boy did it bite me in the but on some of those stages :D

Dude, I ran past a couple of the targets... And I was the one that put the damn things there.
It was so fun seeing my intent for the stages totally getting gamed by some of you guys

Huh? I thought all the
stages were pretty strait forward. Stage 4 felt like it was over built on the
right side as the stage could be shot from two Positions (starting and Left
side). Stage 3 Leaning from the right side wall to get the 2 doubles wasn't intentional?
lol

^^ That's one of them I'm thinking of. :D I saw Chris E's video, and saw Griswold do that, and I laughed my butt off

There is no such thing as "intent". As the stage designer, present a problem, test a skill, and enjoy the diversity of the solutions the shooters come up with. :)

Definitely did! I felt handicapped a bit because I had a preconception of how the stages "SHOULD" be ran, and then everyone smoked me because they thought out of the box :D Can't wait to see what they come up with next match!

Looking forward to joining you all for this. My only request is that nobody laughs at me when I goof up. Well, I guess it's ok if you laugh at the mistakes I make, just please do it behind my back.
I have done about 10 or so 3 gun events in So Cal, so I do have an idea how this is supposed to work. Hopefully I will see you all in January.
