Does anyone know how or know someone that can make good quality hat bands from horse hair?

My kids have road the Jefferson County Westernaires for many years, today was my sons last practice, and next week was to be his and Bailey's (the mare) last show. Well she blew out a knee today and it just couldn't be fixed so we had to put her down. Bailey was my daughters horse and has taught many kids to ride, was going to be starting a new group in a week and a half. She was more than just a horse to our family...We have her main and tail and I am thinking about making three hat bands from it. So if anyone knows someone who does this please let me know. Thanks...

Sorry to hear about your loss. My daughter just started Westerairs this year. I'm looking forward to her making a bond with horses like that.

That sucks man I'm sorry for your loss. All of my nieces have been in westernaires, and is currently. It's a great activity to get kids out and doing something besides watching tv. Hit up my sister in law she might be able to help I will pm you her name.
