Stopped by Cabela's at lunch today once I heard about the sad events in WA State and stocked up on some stuff I was getting low on.
As I was leaving, it was slowly filling up.

Stopped by Sportman's Warehouse and Walmart today, more ammo there than anytime in the last year and 9 months. I'm personally not to worried about it. School shootings are here to stay, unless the body count is >10 I don't foresee ammo flying off shelves just because of another shooting.

NO. You're about 15-20 years too late.

Nope!!
I doubt there will be large-scale political action resulting from this incident.
However, it did probably cement the passage of Washington State's proposed UBC ballot initiative.

I don't have a lot of things. Not enough ammo isn't one of them.

Because if one was required to get a BGC that would have prevented the kid from stealing the firearm from his parents. Murder being illegal? eh so what, but I don't want to break that background check law.

Yeah the only people that are going to get screwed by this are Washington state gun owners (who would likely have been just as screwed had this not happened) ... but Washington is much bluer than CO and has been for a long time. I imagine a lot of folk in WA are thinking about buying property in Idaho right about now.

Where your head at Kapa? Trying to apply logic and reason to gun grabbers? You should know better than that by now :p
Don't forget that mass shootings are on a steady decline despite news coverage and agendas.

My brother did after the Sandy hook shooting but since then prices have been falling and availability has been increasing.
