He's incorrect about the "SB15 legally can't be shouldered".
I want one, but I'd camp out in line for a 5.56 version.
Siiigghhh... gonna have to put in a request with my favorite IWI distributor for when one of these come in. Dammit. Thought I was good on carbines for a while.

I'm happy with my 106FR. If the price point isn't at, or below, $800. i'll do another AK or 2.

.
He said "Can" be shouldered, not can't.
Looks interesting but "priced below the Tavor" (I'm guessing it's going to be $1500ish) Not interested at that price point, $600 range, sure.

I was assuming it would be NATO mag compatible but seems there's a proprietary 35 rounder in 5.56. I'd actually probably opt for the 7.62 in this case.

Oh, you're right. The way he said it made it seem he said can't.

yeah what I am thinking, I still want a 7.62x39 the AK was the first thought (watching armslist, and waiting for the new CAI AK) , but this is interesting, if the price point makes sense.
Nice, but too high end for me..
After all it's an AK right??[Coffee]

I was looking at the PTR32 but it doesn't have stellar reviews.
I'm looking for something more accurate than an AK that uses AK magazines.

what kind of effective range are you wanting?? AK will reach 400m if you can hit it. I have never seen a ptr32, but it begs the why question?

They look badass, i read elsewhere that they will be in the 1400-1500$ range. I wish they would of used a different stock I hate ar stocks on ak's.

how do you fix trigger slap? or do you just replace it with a G2?
for 1400-1500 I would likely have to pass, like Kazoo said that's 2x AK's, IWI makes good toys, but the reviews will have to be head exploding wow to justify that price

I drop tapco's, or when i had some FSE H/T/S. There's a few decent adj units for AK's . As lons as you don't put an AR stock on them, it's all good. It's not too hard to make an adj trigger using parts on hand

The stock really isn't an AR stock. It borrows from the functionality of the M4 type stock, but it's not compatible with AR15 rifles. No matter what you do, if you design a sliding stock it's going to resemble an AR stock of some kind these days. Magpul has several designs on their own that cover just about every imaginable configuration for an adjustable stock for the AR15.

Just saw MAC posted the MSRP. $1749 ...Not really feeling it at that price point.

I saw an MSRP of 2,199. Crazy. And it didn't even seem like that had an arm brace.

I can think of a lot of things to do with 2k...
buy 6 or 8 stamped serialized AK lowers, buy 3-4 build kits, spend the winter polishing them, to make them nice, gift one or two...
many people happy

The only thing that would make me buy an AK is a left-charging JewAK. So with that price, I wont be buying an AK. :D

then get a yugo m70 and reload for it ;) one of the biggest reason "ak's aren't accurate" is because the ammo we feed them isn't exactly consistently accurate ammo. I always laugh when people say "the 7.62x39 cartridge isn't inherrently accurate" but then they will praise the 300 blackout. With that said there aren't any ammo companies producing 7.62x39 with accuracy in mind so reloading is the way to go. As for me I am usually able to hit plates at 300 yards with a good ak and good ammo (yugo m67 ball, golden tiger, chinese) though I shoot for plate hits with ak's not group size.
