looking to pick one up but a lot of places are CRAZY high priced compared to online, so figured i would see if anyone has intel on a place in the denver area to pick one up
I usually see them in the high $300 range. What prices are you looking for?

I had the same issue years past when I was looking at one. My local store had them back around 2008'ish and was asking $350 and Bersa's website had them MSRP at $260. They were written up in a gun rag as a best buy at just over $250. When I asked the local gun shop why their price was above Bersa's MSRP from their website he stated that Bersa's website was wrong. Haven't been back to that store.
Those of us that have shopped in the "Springs" will know of this store as having probably one of the largest selections locally. MSRP is currently $335
There are some places trying to get over $500 for these pistols.

I haven't seen Bersa in the display case, but they'll order anything you want.
Have you ever shot a Bersa before? I couldn't hit anything with the one I shot, but it's not like I had a ton of experience at the time.

I have one in .22. As long as I feed it hyper-velocity ammo, it holds it's own against my Buckmark. It doesn't like crappy ammo, but never fails with hot stuff. I haven't shot it in .380.
Good point. The .380 was the one I shot. I couldn't hit anything with my Kel-Tec PF9 either, for full disclosure. The Bersa had a much better trigger.

yeah ive shot one before. theyre fine. im not as good of a shot as I am with a 1911, but that goes for basically any pistol and me.

At those prices, I'd recommend going with a CZ 83 myself. Nicer finish and better workmanship for the same basic form factor.

They are both patterned after the HsC mauser.

While the bersa is a nice hand gun. Best bang for the buck & resale would be a CZ. Unless you could locate a beretta 84BB, for their old selling price.

i guess i should clarify that i am looking for a place that actually has one in stocks opposed to ordering it, otherwise i could just buy one online and have it shipped for the lowest price, but i appreciate the help.
Several on Armslist yesterday for $275 to $320 used and new. Local area. Obviously some at much higher price. Might be worth a look.
I got lucky with mine. We used to have a member here that was a home-based FFL and dealer up in Westminster. He mentioned one day he had a brand new Thunder .380 for $230, I broke every traffic law in the books getting up there to buy it from him! It's sweet, and a pre-lock model too. But this was probably in 2008, ain't gonna find that price now. What's the real killer with those is the cost of extra magazines - OMG are those expensive!
The other is a FEG PA-63 in 9mm Makarov. THAT is one snappy little bastard! Especially with Combloc surplus ball ammo.

Ark Tactical had an all Black Thunder Plus under the counter in the $325 range. Don't know if it was used or new, and it was several weeks ago.
