I have been researching a kit in 7.62 x 39 since I have the ammo and do not want to have to restock new caliber. Has anyone here had any success or built one this way. Any feedback appreciated.
I am going to order one from here. http://www.ar15-kits.com/index1.html
I am hoping to find the lower locally. Any suggestions as to where to go?
Thanks in advance.

If you have bulk com-block steel cased ammo you are asking for troubles.
Steel cased ammo shoots best and most reliably in the AK platform or SKS, guns that were designed for it.
On the other hand if you have high quality brass case ammo, go for it.
Additionally, because the bolt is hogged out for the larger case the locking lugs are prone to breakage, so you might consider getting a spare bolt.
If you plan to possibly occationally shoot steel case ammo you might also consider and extra extractor.
Lastly stock up on C-Products mags. They seem to be the only source for reliable mags.
Happy shooting...
