View Full Version : 1919 Build

Does anyone have any experience building 1919s? I have a few kits and RSPs that I would like to build sometime.

My understanding is that you have to machine some of the internals. Is there anyone local that does that? I know there are some out of state, and I might just end up using them, but I would rather do it locally if possible.

I think all I will need as far as tools is a shop press and some rivets, is that about right?

I really suck at reading how to do things and learn much better by watching and doing. Is there anyone that has done this before that can walk me through a build? Is it a lot more technical than it sounds?

Is there a 'smith around that does it for a reasonable price if I decide not to do it myself?

Thanks.

I never did. I haven't been on much, and I haven't been keeping track of my threads, but I happened to check today. Hopefully I will be getting my taxes done soon and have a little cash. I'd like to build one, or maybe pay to have one built if it isn't too much.
